Good teaching resource
I'm a teacher and I use lolly sticks to write students' names on and select them at random so everyone gets a fair chance of answering a question (not just the eager students) and it's a great way of learning the names of students in a new class. Having them coloured is good because I can choose a lolly stick of a particular colour based on the difficulty of the question and the student names are written on particular colours depending on ability. These lolly sticks are pale enough that I can write in them in biro and see the name clearly (apart from the purple) - some of the other brands are dyed quite darkly and it's difficult to see the students' names on the darker coloursThere are 100 of these in a packet - enough for 3 classes - or 6 classes if you write names on both sides. There are cheaper jumbo lolly sticks, but I preferred the pale colour of these and they were available for next day delivery.

Good for arts and crafts. Lots in a pack.

Good value
Very wide (not standard lolly pop size) so easy to write on. Purple is very dark so difficult to see anything you write on them.

Good sized lollipop sticks
Good quality and a good size. An even distribution of colours too. Only thing to watch out for it the dye runs if they get wet (ie sucked by a child!)
