this has been a great addition to my latest PC build
I was a little unsure at first after using the original Hue+ with the twisty knobs, but I must admit, this has been a great addition to my latest PC build. I defo recommend this product to anyone who wants to pimp out their case. The LEDs are very bright and the Cam software is easy to use with some pretty cool preset modes availible.

Be careful when buying the HUE+ Extension kit.
Please be aware that if you are buying the Hue+ Extension kit it will only connect if you bought your Hue+ controller with LED strips. If you bought the Hue+ kit with the fans, the wires and connections are different and the supplier wires in the LED Extension kit do not fit directly into the Hub or any of the fan type cables. I managed to get this to work by disassembling one of the fan cables and wiring it up to the LED strip.Would get 5 stars but the advert clearly says all I would need is the Hue+ hub which is incorrect.

NZXT is usually a quality item, plugged mine into my asus aura enabled motherboard, worked perfectly for 15 seconds and then left with only 2 leds working. Not sure what went but returned item

I wish I could in good conscious give this a higher rating but....Although the HUE+ is a great piece of kit and the software although ugly does work better than its competitors, The strips are temperamental and brittle.I've had two packs of these (One as a replacement for the first) and the original 4 strips that come with the HUE+, To date only 2 out 8 are still working correctly!They have suffered from a variety of issues, but most have failed through broken LED's. Once an LED in the chain breaks it effects all Leds after it in the strip stopping them producing the colour you ask them to. I should point out the strips are known to be a bit flimsy, But all of mine have failed months after fitting without any handling.NZXT to their credit have a fantastic customer service and will normally respond quickly offering replacements (with proof of purchase). But i'd much prefer a product that doesn't break in the first place.The postives are that the colour production is excellent, in particular the white is very impressive. It looks like a daylight pure white with no colour bleed from the other RGB colours.ProsQuite brightGood colour productionNZXT CAM software is very goodLots of effects and fully customizableConsVery poor durabilityI have just enough functioning strips to light my PC at the mo, but I won't be buying anymore and looking at the similar kits from Corsair etc

Really good RGB strip for the NZXT Hue+. The magnets are alright, but the adhesive is quite poor as it fell off of my desk within a few days, so it's held on with tape.

Great LED's but only one works
Say it all above. They are really bright and look amazing in my case but only one strip out of the 2 work. Bit annoying but hey at least one works :)
