Star Wars Nerf Episode VII Chewbacca Bowcaster

Purchased this as a gift for someone and they really loved it. Came in a decent box and packaged well. It is smaller than I expected but still a lot of fun and the darts go quite far! I bought spares too as you're bound to lose some. Would definitely recommend for the price.

As with other views, lasted 10 minutes as the trigger mechanism stuck and will not work.Update - Noted people have mentioned about a safety mechanism and not neccesarily stuck. After testing, the bow will fire but only with the bullet in place. Appears to work fine.

**TRIGGER BROKE** I thought this because I couldn't get it to fire. However there is a safety mechanism that stops it being fired if there isn't a nerf bullet pushed right the way in. try this and see if it works again!

Excellent product with hours of fun, especially for someone who's a huge fan of star wars. Only issue is that the elastic pull back mechanism got stuck and no longer fired, so had to take the whole thing apart and tinker with it for about half an hour to get it working again.Overall, great fun but not robust enough for the use it gets

Now if only they could magazine this beauty for rapid fire! Good for fine motor skills with loading etc... safe as houses and lots of fun.

I thought this might be a bit of a dissapointing due to the flimsy elastic that you pull back, how wrong I was, the nerf darts from this fly out like a greased ferret in a drainpipe.The range and speed as as good as any of the standard nerf guns we've had over the years. I think the only downside is that's its a single loader and the clip on the side doesn't hold many darts.

Trigger jam! Fixed by removing the 10 or so screws then removing the piece in the attached photo, hopefully it'll last a little longer than 4 hours. Two stars would be I want my money back so its pretty close. If it wasn't for that it would get 4 stars.

Not the most powerful Nerf but for a Nerf nerd and Star Wars junkie (aged 9) what more could you ask for?
