I really like this coffee. I bit a bit dubious as most mushroom based foods and supplements taste rank, but this doesn't. It has a rich earthy taste and isn't unpleasant at all. I'm usually quite caffeine sensitive, but this blend is very good, it gives me a morning boost, but isnt so strong that I get heart palpitations and shakes. I bought this as a winter substitute to my usual morning smoothie with cacao. But now the months are cooler, I wanted a mildly stimulating hot drink. The only downside is the price, it is very expensive for what it is... However, I have found if I buy in bulk it can work out at around £2 less a box.

I read about this first from Tim Ferriss, but the reviews here weren't quite as generous, so I did not buy any. However, there were some free samples at work. After an hour or so of trying it, I felt a calmness and focus which I have not had on other nootropics /enhancers that I have tried. For example, caffeine usually leaves me jittery and stronger items, whilst being very effective had certain side effects (irritability etc). On this coffee, I also found myself much more reflective, being able to think more before I speak (my partner appreciated this). Do not expect this to taste like your finest roast and ground coffee, it is not bullet proof (which I used to love until they stopped shipping to the UK), it tastes more like your average instant Nescafe. If it wasn't for the benefits, then I would not drink it. For nearly £1 a coffee it is expensive... but relatively.. a bag of roast and ground would be around 20p vs a starbucks £3. So it depends on what you compare it with. Personally, I have forgone the Pret Latte and have one of these and bought a good coffee pod machine to compliment it. Overall, this may or may not work for everyone (people are built differently), but it is worth trying (it would be nice if they did smaller 'sample' packs.)

This absolutely does NOT taste like good quality coffee. It doesn't taste like mushrooms either . BUT even after just 3 days i have certainly noticed an alertness and focus during the mornings after taking a daily cup of this strange black liquid. I do miss the pleasure of fresh coffee but Its a price im willing to pay to help my mental clarity so i can get through my assignment!

This coffee tastes better than I expected. Doesn't taste of mushrooms but more like a cheaper instant coffee. I have been drinking for about a week now, one cup in the mornings, and apart from a caffeine withdrawal headache on the first day I have felt no different. I will try for a longer time, but it is very expensive and I'm now considering a supplement instead for a stronger dose.

They taste great however they are very expensive, possibly due to being imported from America. Rheal Shroom Coffee tastes just as good with almost identical ingredients but it made and sold in the uk at a much cheaper price.

I buy this for a treat for myself from time to time. Is too expensive for regular buying or a subscription, and I can only find a larger packet of fresh filter coffee which isn't the same as this. Shame because it tastes great and has a great effect, not as boisterous as regular instant coffee. Shame it's too expensive, otherwise I'd drink this coffee all the time. However, working out at about £1 a cup of coffee is too much, when I buy a pack it lasts me a while as I don't like to use all my sachets too quickly.

A bog standard cup has approximately 100mg of caffiene... i regularly add an espresso shot so my 'regular' coffee is 200mg.. 50mg is not enough at all in a single cup. I can see me adding this to my regular instant coffee to make up my 200mg.., or taking a pro plus after it but it's not enough alone to wake you up. Taste - no problem, like any other coffee Effect - I was thinking clearer with it alone however i was still too tired to execute the thing i was thinking clearer about due to tiredness so whats the point. I was more concentrated though Value for Money - from someone who buys coffee at work, £7.76/10 cups = this works out to 0.70p, thats quite good value. It's cheaper than buying the Four Sigmatic Focus Blend which is sans coffee that works out to 0.99/serving. So I guess buying this and adding it to my coffee until the focus blend gets cheaper will suffice for now So do with that what you will. For me - i'm going to chug my energy drink, we'll see how things go, maybe i'll update this review

I'm not sure how well I focus mentally when I take this, but I really enjoy the flavour and it doesn't give me acid reflux like most instant coffees.
