Great for Porridge
Most days I start with porridge for breakfast, and I like to make it more enjoyable with a variety of berries and seeds; it feels like a healthy start to the day.I have been buying these RealFoodSource Goji Berries for a while because they taste nice and are good value, much better than buying from the supermarkets. These are sun dried, and do not contain the preservative that is mostly added to Goji berries, Sulphur Dioxide. In an ideal world I would buy organic, but the price is prohibitive; as these are sun dried and preservative free, they represent a good mid point. What the berries are like will depend on which batch you get. Most I have bought from RealFoodSource are dried completely, whereas my most recent batch are a little moister, mostly dry, but some are clumped; these soon separate in the porridge whilst cooking however. These seem to represent good value for money and always arrive promptly.

too dry.
Like others have said these are overall too dry, they are a bit hit and miss as sometimes you get a few that are nice and chewy inside while others are crunchy and crispy. They are also a little hit and miss on taste as some taste a little funny while others taste normal.overall there is too many dry and bad tasting berries in the packet for me to recomend but depending on your use case that may not be an issue if you plan on using them in things like overnight oats, the price is great though but if you dont want to buy bulk to save money the more expensive supermarket options seem to be overall a higher quality.update: i have changed my review from a 3star to a 4star and have left my original review unedited but have more to add.I still stand by what i said however after leaving the goji berries out with an opening in the packaging they seem to have taken moisture from the air and are much less crispy and have the chewy texture that the normal goji berries i buy have. Im still not convinced they are the best quality berries i have ever had but they are a lot more palatable and the crunchy ones are much rarer inline with what i expect.

Really love these Goji berries and was having a problem finding them so bought this large bag. I now throw them in salads and bowls of nuts. Just love them.

Good, wholesome Goji's
I've written so many reviews for so many different Goji berries that they all blur into one, mainly because I'm having problems getting the same brand each time I order some. These are the latest in a long line and I'm becoming something of an expert in the taste and texture of the Goji berry!First of all, they don't contain sulphites, which has to be a good thing. Apparently (according to this seller) most Goji berries do, even the organic, naturally dried ones and the manufacturers don't have to say so on the packaging. This seller actually guarantees that the product doesn't contain sulphites so you definitely know you are eating something clean and natural - yay!As for the taste, I'm afraid they aren't the most flavoursome I've ever tasted but they are a good size, dry-ish but not too much so and they are clean, with very few leaves stuck to the actually berries and almost every berry is whole. I've had quite a few products that have been dry and powdery with all the berries smashed and the seeds falling out but these are not like that.I've found the best way to deal with slightly dry berries is to skim a few off (maybe a week's worth) into a not-quite-airtight container and re-seal the main bag to keep the rest of them fresh. The slight ingress of air to the non-airtight container allows them to soften and become juicier and more pleasant to eat. Can't think of anything more to say about them except that, if I can, I'll be getting these again, for sheer value-for-money if nothing else - you get twice as many for half the price of the ones I've had before and although they are a bit on the dry side and not as flavoursome as my previous brands, they are at least clean and wholesome. and not loaded with potentially health-damaging chemicals.

Great for flapjacks
An added addition to flapjacks but need to soak first in hot water for a few minutes before adding.

Not the best...
Keep looking for the ultimate Goji Berry, but this variety is not it.. These are good value or I thought so, but they are very hard and take ages to soften in milk. I have Goji's every day in my breakfast cereal and these are the hardest/driest one's I've tried so far. They are quite small too - maybe because they've been dried for too long? where they originate. Anyway as a Goji berry addict I really can't recommend these one's.
