These shears are perfect for trimming the grass at the front of my allotment. Lightweight and easy to use they cut really well and have around 40mins of charge, more than enough for my needs but excellent none the less. Charge time from 'empty ' is little over an hour with a red to green battery indicator light on the handle. Very happy with this purchase indeed !!

Good little clippers Do the job well. Would have liked a case to store them in Could be a bit " plasticky ' quite rigid Got them really cheap in the sale, so not complaining. Recommend for light use Came very promptly and well packaged

Bought this for cutting the grass around my plants in the back garden, they are brilliant. Very sturdy, easy to use, there are two safety features where you can't accidentally switch it on amd hurt yourself or damage a plant. Blades are very sharp, cut through the grass cleanly, haven't used the longer blade yet but I'm sure it will be just as good. Very well made and for the price I paid it's well worth it, would recommend

Really pleased with this for keeping shrubs and hedges tidy. The two interchangeable blades are a nice touch and the battery life is more than sufficient for a good session in the garden. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Great value at the price.

I suppose it's pretty decent given the low price, but it died completely after 18 months having only been used about 5 times in total. I was able to trim grass easily, which is what I bought it for. However, when attaching the shrub/bush trimmer, it struggled with the hedges unless the branches are quite thin. I had to try multiple times to cut the hedges and the battery didn't last long when it was cutting hedges.. Overall it was pretty good but I think I'd rather spend extra on something that's more reliable, a little stronger, and lasts longer.

Having previously owned a very similar brand named product that failed after only two seasons I was not prepared to pay £60 again for a machine that would probably have an equally hard life. My initial thoughts were that this deal seemed too good to be true but the converse is very much the case and the un-named cordless trimmer is as good in every way as its dearer cousin. I use it primarily for edging my small lawn rather than fighting with a corded strimmer and the 35-40 minute charge enables me to fully complete the task. The gentle action of the sharp blades of the smaller cutter is almost theraputic and it does an excellent job. This machine is also highly effective for trimming small box hedges and my wife, who has arthritis in her right hand, has shown that it will suit the elderly or those with a mild disability. At this point I would add that delivery only took a couple of days from ordering. All in all, a good buy and one that I highly recommend. Update as at 3rd August 2017. The trimmer has had a very hard life over the last three years and proved every bit as good as was hoped when I posted my original review. Although it is still working, the battery life has very recently dropped a bit and the blades have been blunted by my hitting stones around the lawn edges. Therefore, I have just purchased the same machine again which was delivered ahead of schedule by Amazon's in-house courier. I am glad to confirm that the new trimmer works extremely well and some minor modifications have actually improved its effectiveness. Therefore, I recommend the product once more which still remains something of a bargain.

The item stopped working after first use, to late to return it but tried to get help through seller, promised to replace an item on 15th of July, despite several emails no replacement or refund received, customer service not responding for emails and not answering the phone, very bad service

Great little tool for trimming grass and small bushes, gets stuck on some branches but overall does a good job
