Smart product
Looks good, scares away birds, but the birds came back after a few days, they are smarter than they look. Even with the owls head moving. Good product though, as there are less birds in the garden now, we need to move the location of the owl every few days to keep the birds away.

Doesn’t deter pigeons!
Don’t waste your money! Bought to scare of pigeons in the garden. It doesn’t do the trick, The pigeons love it! Just seen two sitting right beside it. If you want a garden ornament ok. But if you want it to deter pigeons it’s a waste of money

Very effective
This is a good size and seems to be working really well. In my opinion it could have a slightly smaller hole to allow it to be affixed around the garden but a larger one probably does allow for more flexibility. It does also need moving every few days, rather than weeks, but since using we have seen zero pigeons on our lawn (leaving a mess) until they figure it out and we have to move it again.

Pigeons be gone
So far so good ; the pigeons have left my garden & fingers crossed this owl is doing its job:I move it around every couple of days as instructed , which is no hardship because I have it on a metal tree stake which is easy to push into the soil , and secure with a little garden wire which saves time trying to fix it to posts and trees etc , it’s a quick and easy to move and place in a new spot. ( nice tall stake gets the owl high in the trees )Long may this Owl continue to do its job no more pigeon 💩 on my garden furniture & paving .

Fantastic has really helped with clean windows
I was getting pretty fed up having to clean our top floor flat roof windows as I could only open them about 10 inches. To clean them I have been using a strong dowble sided magnetic window cleaner on a ladder inside the room. To clean four windows takes me about 1.5hrs and a very stiff neck and back. It seems as though local seagulls love sunbathing and depositing on the windows. After having just cleaned them and one day later they were covered in seagull deposits I looked for something to help. I found these imitation owls but was a bit sceptical. We are in a windy area so I purchased two owls, two breeze blocks from B&Q, 1 metre threaded rod with nuts, large washers and some concrete mix. Filled the owls body with fast setting concrete through the bottom. Inserted some threaded screw through the bottom and into the concrete and let it set. Then drilled a hole through the breeze block and but a counter sunk hole on the bottom of the block to accomodate the washers and nuts. The first time mounted on the roof I found the head did not move enough so cut out a plastic box lid in the shape of a vane, painted it black and mounted it on the beck of the owls neck. Then up the internal ladder with difficulty pushing out the breeze block through the window gap then mounted the owl onto the breeze block and tightened the owl to the block. I have put one owl at each end of the windows ie two and now three months in not a single seagull or pigeon mess on the glass. Seriously I am overjoyed at the effectiveness of this solution. We have named them Ollie & ‘Oward our new owl friends.

Waste of money
Waste of money. Bought 2 of these. Fixings are non existent. Telling you to put on a stick is a joke. Having bought my own fixing and fitted to my balcony, Within 10 minutes pigeons we sat alongside it merrily crapping as usual.
