Black Sabbath Live...Gathered In Their Masses [DVD+CD] [2013]

I have been a Sabbath fan since they began, and saw them twice in the 70s. They were great live back then, so when this tour came around,i bought tickets to see them in Glasgow, to pay homage to my heroes,but with 0zzy,Tony,and Geezer,all in their 60s,i feared time would have taken its toll,and the band would just be going through the motions,for one last tour. How wrong could i have been, they may look a bit older, but have never sounded better. This DVD/CD collection, is taken from the same tour, and although it cant quite compare to actually being there, it captures the band at their very best, making all the old songs sound as vibrant, fresh and powerfull as they ever did. If you are a fan, or like heavy rock, this set is a must, its amazing, so dont miss it. PS I agree with a previous reviewer, its a pity the included cd doesnt contain all the tracks from the dvd, but this doesnt detract from a wonderful product. BUY IT NOW.

Who would have thought we would ever witness a Black Sabbath reunion let alone one with Ossie!!here is a band still at the top of their game and delivering with nearly all the original power. Ossie still bounding with energy in both movement and comments!Great choice of songs on the disc; finishing with "Paranoid" was the business ; came across very well live with some "extra" guitar work from Toni Iommi.DVD first class; I was lucky enough to see the band at the O2 in December last and it as great to be able to have the disc to relive the occasion. Very good camera work on the video so you really feel as though you were there.

I saw Sabbath in the early days and have followed them through thick and thin, blimey is it 44 years....The tracks here are a mainly earlier stuff with a few of the new album tracks.The playing is as always excellent, and Ozzy seems to have regained his vocals again.One downer is that the CD version rather shorter than the DVD (by 5 tracks)

Good performances despite the advancing years.My son would have enjoyed it more without the expletives, but I guess that that is Ozzy for you!Standout performer, the drummer. Having said that it is a real pity that Bill Ward was unable/unwilling to be a part of this tour.High quality DVD and once again a shame that it did not come with a 2 cd set covering the full show.Oh well......

Well let me tell you,,loved Sabbath since I was 12 years old,,now am 44 years,,and this has got tobe the best ever dvd they have done,,well live dvd that is,,the stage show is amazing,ozzy brings out the good old classics,this is the one dvd you should get,,,promise you will not be sorry,,,Sabbath the grandfathers of rock

I have been a Sabbath fan right from the start, having seen them at the Birmingham Odeon. If you are like me, you will enjoy this DVD. An absolute corker of a concert with all of the band at their best. Ozzy even gives a few fans in the front rows a free shower.

They can still wipe the floor with modern pretenders. Was concerned that Ozzy would not be up to it, but with some judicious choice of material, notably some of my favourite classics, they pull it off brilliantly. Still are and will always be my heroes.

This DVD shows how good Sabbath could be in the final years. This show shows the magic of one of the best bands ever.

Accidenti che concerto.....terrificante.....(in senso buono). Alla loro età I B.S. fanno un concerto con un' energia e una forza infernali. Toni Iommi è sempre il chitarrista grandioso che conosciamo, tanto essenziale quanto fondamentale nel creare il suono della band. Ozzy è in forma smagliante sia fisicamente che vocalmente....la voce del metal!!!!

j'avais hésité d'acheter ce concert du groupe mythique, tellement on est déçu parfois de toutes ces rééditions live, mais la, quel bonheur.On retrouve le Black Sabbath comme à leurs débuts, morceaux bien choisis, les guitares à tomber par terre et Ozzi, égal à lui même,méme si dans les premiers morceaux il peine en voix.Bien sur le DVD est surtout le principal atout de ce lot,qualité d'image et son ( dvd+cd), mais le prix du coffret par Amazone, c'est le top.Juste que le défaut d'Amazone est le manque de précision dans le choix de l'achat, rien ne signale vraiment si on est sur du DVD classsique ou du BlueRay, c'est dommage tout de même.Je souhaite que tous les fans de cette époque mythique et particulièrement de Black Sabbath puissent l'acheter sans hésiter tellement c'est bon.

Super DVD , Bild und Ton sind hervorragend. Das Konzert selbst ist ein Genuß ! Alte und neue Songs harmonieren hier miteinander. Toni Iommi wie immer mit einem Lächeln , donnert seine fantastischen Riffs in die Massen. Ozzy ist super drauf , singt und macht Faxen, animiert das Publikum, Geezer am Bass routiniert , einfach Klasse und der Drummer trommelt als ob er geradewegs aus der Hölle kommt, diesem Rhythmus kann man sich nicht entziehen und die rein sportliche Leistung , die er abliefert, unglaublich ! Hier paßt Alles. Kaufempfehlung !
