The slow-cooking method is perfect for tenderising, and being able to hold the food at the required temperature could make your service a lot simpler. How to use it? Before all the operations, please add the water into the container(the water level should be between the Max line and the Min line), then put your food sealed in bags into water. Next please start cooking with the following steps. 1.Firstly, press the Power Button for 3 seconds, then this machine will bleep and the display will turn on. The display will show the current temperature. 2.Secondly, set the time, there are “delay timer” and “work time”. The delay timer is actually a “time delay” before it actually turns on. The work time is actually cooking time after it has reached the set cooking temperature. It will start counting down only when it has hit the desired temperature and stop after the time has elapsed. 3.Thirdly, set the temperature, press the set button to move through each setting and push the control wheel up and down to increment. 4.Finally, once you have finished your settings, please press the Power Button and then it will start the cooking program. Notes: 1)The water level can not lower than the min level and can not higher than the max level, it has marks on the machine. 2)The depth of your pan or pot should exceed 19cm, because the water level must higher than the min level. Great Product, Great Price.
Been wanting to try Sous Vide for while but could never bring myself to try it. Saw this with good reviews and good price so thought I would give it a go.Very, very impressed. Manual was a bit confusing due to the bad English but simple to use once you know how. (have to hold the on button for 3 seconds to turn it on).First meal to try. Steak. I have never tasted a steak so juicy with so much flavour. Would recommend this to any amateur cook.Firm build and temp is accurate (checked with 2nd thermometer).However, you do need a deep pot. Had to purchase another pot just to use this.9/10, would recommend. Only downside is it is a bit big to use/store.

Item is Not very durable/ poor design. instructions were difficult to read or understand. Item returned when clip broke and unable to use properly.

Great Tool
Great tool. Very powerful and quick at 1500 w, and price is just perfect. It is a bit bulky but that makes it more sturdy.Used it 10 times in two weeks already.

You need a pot or pan of at least 15 cm depth for this to work with but the description doesn't say this. The instructions are in very poor English . The 'set time' you are prompted to set is not the current time or the time for this to run. It is the future time when you expect the device to start if say you wanted to start this while you are out so you have this on zero unless you are planning to set this to start in the future or the appliance wont work. Once you have worked these things out it is ok. Can't rate higher as the instructions are so poorly written for an item of this cost.

Sturdy and excellent value for money.
Been after a Sous Vide cooker for a while, so decided to take the plunge with this one as it had good reviews and was a good price. Was surprised at the size of the unit, a lot bigger than I expected, but is solidly built, and feels like a good quality machine. The instruction book is terrible, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, but with a bit of experimentation, I worked out how to use it, and it it quite a simple machine to get working.Set the temperature you want with the wheel, set a times start if needed, then set the duration and press start, easy as that. The stick then warms the water up to temperature very quickly, and when it ready for the food, gives a good beep.I tested the temperature with a thermometer several times during the cook, and there was no variation in temperature at all, which was impressive. Cooked chicken first, then a flank steak. Browned both off in a skillet afterwards. The chicken was the juiciest I have ever eaten, and the steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and was also incredibly juicy, the best steak I have ever cooked.Not sure what the more expensive sticks can do, but this is perfect for my use, and I can highly reccomend it.

Good item for the price
A few of the reviews here had me worried, but i know people usually ignore details and ruin things quite easily. I am happy to say that this product is not as well made as others but for the price i got it it is more than worth it. It heats up fast, is a bit noisy but nothing that can be too annoying in a kitchen and does an amazing job with foods... once you get used to it. We ruined a couple of perfectly good meals but in hindsight it was worth it.
