Angelcare AC300 Baby Movement Monitor

As a total sceptic and someone who isn't a worrier I was surprised by how comforting this is. It's gone off a couple of times and I will never know if he stopped breathing and the alarm sounding resolved it but I would definitely recommend it. We have used it for around 3 months. Great value and peace of mind.

I purchased this item after returning the angelcare video and movement monitor due to poor battery life. I now use this in conjunction with a Motorola video monitor an it works perfectly. Never had a false alarm and goes off every time I take my little one out of her crib. You can set it to tic so it makes a ticking sound with every movement but as we sleep with it on we normally have the ticking feature off. The set up is fairly simple and it's a discreet bit of kit. Has helped me and my husband get some good sleep as we can be confident that it would sound if there was a problem with our babies breathing.

I’m not sure how it works... apparently it should catch if baby doesn’t breath.It beeps once after 10sec and if still nothing it happening it beeps constantly.So we checked it with my brother who lay down on it and stopped to breath to check if it will beep and it didn’t. After 10sec from the moment when he got up it did. So seems like it just works when you’ll pick baby up from bed... but it still gives some kind of piece of mind..

This sensor pad has literally changed my life. I’ve gone from getting up checking she’s breathing every hour to getting in bed and actually sleeping! It’s such piece of mind seeing the green light flashing when I open my eyes on a night.I use this pad and my video monitor so I can see her too. Just a brilliant device! It’s beeped a few times and I’ve jumped up and she’s been so shallow in her breathing it’s not detected it. But I checked her to make sure she was ok. Few times I forgot to turn it off but that’s my fault not the productsAll in all it’s great especially for reflux babies which mine is!

Brought this as I have recently given birth to my beautiful baby boy and I had anxiety about him sleeping and not being able to see him. This came quicker then expected and I used it for the first time last night in his moses basket. And I have never slept better between feds. I was begging to get down with the lack of sleep. And just knowing that this little device will let us know if he hasn't moved in 20 secs is a god send. Touch wood we haven't had a false alarm yet and all seams to be running great. Best bit of kit I brought.

It works well and is not over sensitive as some people claim (adjust the sensitivity setting people and experiment to see what works in your house)... I have it on 3/medium. No false alarms. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is that it does make the mattress buldge slightly and it makes me wonder whether the baby is affected by this or can feel this underneath.

Excellent. I love these angel monitors as have the full one with nursery and parent monitors and movement pad for my home nursery. I was anxious about heading on holiday without it as baby still very small so purchased this as a travel monitor for holidays etc and does the job perfectly. Runs off batteries, no plug, so perfect when heading away. Easy to set up and took little room in suitcase. Lightweight. Gave me the peace of mind I needed whilst staying in a hotel.

Good but use the best batteries u can afford otherwise you will be up every week.. when the battery fails, the alarm sounds!
