Excellent stand, perfect for Vallejo paints.
Very nice, quality paint stand from the Vallejo house. Easy to build, and quite strong once it is constructed. While it does state that you don't need glue, and you don't as it does fit tightly together I would recommend you glue the primary edges. Unless of course you intend dismantling this between uses. The paint pots from the Vallejo collection fit into this perfectly, and it is easy to place and remove pots from the racks. The holes at the back on the top and middle shelf are there to hold brushes and small tools. Be aware that there is no base piece for this, so anything you put in those holes will fall through should you pick it up - if the barrel isn't large enough to wedge in it. As such, you might want to either add a small piece to the back to support anything you put in these, such as slim paint brushes, or put it in a permanent place on your workstation. Small wooden pegs are provided to join this to other pieces in the Vallejo stand family, and they are strong enough to hold the units together, but not strong enough to support them if you try to pick up joined stands. Build quality is excellent, all the pieces are cut cleanly and all the holes are formed well. The pegs used to connect the pieces fit tightly into their respective holes and sections, though I would still recommend using a small amount of glue to fix these rather than relying on friction alone.

Easy to assemble, fits 17 ml bottles of Army Painter
The stand requires no screws or glue. It holds 17 ml bottles fine, and the top row holds the bulkier citadel paint bottles. The very back row has room for pencils, but it's pretty much touch-and-go whether they'll fit. Some fitted fine and didn't fall through the bottom gap. Some do, leaving only the brush visible. Some of the newer ergonomic brushes are too broad to fit. I managed to fit all the bottles from the DnD starter painting set and the monster set just fine, but any expansion of paint bottles would require another purchase of these - which would be a pleasure. You can keep your own (il)logical ordening system of paints, but it takes up a lot less space on a table or desk than just putting them all together in rows without a stand. Because they're 'stacked' in height, it's far easier to quickly read a label, and the top bit of the 17 ml bottles is visible even on the back rows so you can see the colours easily.

A pig to put together, but really excellent paint station if you manage it!
Once I had managed to put it together this turned out to be a really excellent stand for Vallejo paints and other bits and bobs such as brushes and any pots or bottles with a bigger diameter than the paints themselves. I found it quite difficult to put together, though. Each "shelf" has lugs on the end that slot into recesses in the end sections. But I found that, for the most part, these were fractionally too big and, if forced, the cream veneer on the shelves tended to pull away from the wood. I found that a slight amount of filing was necessary to get the lugs to slot in easily and then I glued all the joints to ensure a good strong and sturdy paint stand. I am really pleased with it, but it would have been better to make the joints a bit easier to put together, but then advise gluing as easier joints might leave it less sturdy. The claim is that glue is not needed is probably right if you mange to get the joints to fit. One other thing that I know has been mentioned in other reviews. The holes for paint brushes on the back of the stand are a great idea, but if the paint brush handle is thin enough to fit in these holes (which 90% of my paint brushes are not sadly) then if you pick the stand up the brushes simply fall out the bottom. You really do have to question the thinking of whoever designed this, as it is such a fundamentally basic design flaw. Perhaps the assumption is that the stands are meant to be fixed permanently in one place. It is also annoying that the holes are not quite big enough for the brushes I use. Slightly larger holes and an extra shelf at the back under the brushes section would have made this stand almost perfect. PS What does "sheerness" mean. I have not given a star for sheerness because I don't know what it means.

Quality and value for money
arrived in good time, a little tricky putting together but no real problem, fits well when assembled, a bit sturdier than it looks. It may not be necessary but I added a little bit of glue to the joints as a 'just in case'. Happy enough with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to store their paints neatly.

Great compact stand for a medium number of paints. NB: 34cm wide. May need glue.
Practical points - 1) it is not "91cm" wide like the listing says - that was always ridiculous. It's actually 34cm. 2) Mine needed glue to stay together. Others report differently so it probably depends on batch, but there was no way this was going to stand up without it. A little white/wood glue was enough. In general this is a nice efficient little stand, and good value for the price. Good that it has a few large-bottle holes. The paint brush holes are ok but, as others have commented, there's no bottom support so they only work while the stand is on a table. I might just make a wood strip to provide support for them.

Fiddly to put together and does need gluing
Looked simple to put together - famous last words! No instructions, just a picture. Several of the 'keys' were exceptionally tight in trying to fit them, the edges roughened up and made them even harder to fit. I had to shave a couple of them a little with a bit of fine sandpaper. This worked but then it was very difficult to attach the second end and I needed help from someone to hold the bits whilst I tried to assemble it. I ended up having to use a little more sandpaper in places. The end result was that I had to use some glue to give the rack much needed rigidity. I have bought similar racks from another supplier - they were much easier to assemble, so afraid I will go back to them.

These are fantastic. I now have two. They assemble relatively easily. A bit of white glue on the joints helps. The easily bear the weight of a full load of pain and fit all standard size paint bottles (Reaper, Warpaints Vallejo) very well. They have made my studio more organized and enhance my workflow.

Putting it together was fairly straight forward. The tabs are a bit tight but not to the point where I had to sand things like I have seen others mention. Just take your time inserting them and make sure it is lined up right Holds lots of stuff. I definitely need another one of these for the rest of my paint. It is part for a modular style system so you can get corner racks for each end, or set two next to each other. This is exactly what I needed to organize my paints and with the tiered display I can quickly find the color I need compared to just having a bunch of bottles in a box and digging through each Holds all the standard size Vallejo, Model Air dropper bottles, Army Painter dropper bottles, and Reaper dropper bottles. Privateer Press P3 paint pots will fit in the larger holes on the upper row as well as the larger Vallejo pigment powder style bottles However, there is only one row for those in this stand so if you have a lot of those style bottles you will need a different configuration The brush holes won't hold some thicker handled brushes but you can always widen the holes I would not really move this far when it it loaded with paint though. It is sturdy enough sitting on a desk, but with all that weight I would be hesitant if I was going to walk down the stairs or be carrying for a any significant distance I guess you could add a bit of wood glue during assembly to

Consigliatissimo.
