Love it
This is my go to coffee now. This is the best decaffeinated coffee if you are looking for great regular coffee taste with decaffeinated.

Great coffeee
My wife loves this coffee. I’m buying it in bulk makes it a bit cheaper. Seriously this is some of the best coffee on the planet

11-51% price increases, decent coffee
I wanted to give it 3.5 stars. In April, I bought the six pack of bright coffee beans for $53.56, it’s now $81 for a six pack (51% price increase). Not sure if that price was a fluke. A single bag has increased in price by about $1.69 or 12% since October 2024. The price increases are very unfortunate. They are still somewhat more affordable than other coffee beans and they make decent espresso for a latte.

The coffee is not fresh
I recently received my first online order—a 6-pack of Bright, with “tasting notes of blueberry, golden raisin, and lemon zest”. As someone who has enjoyed many of your espressos in New York, I was truly excited to bring that same experience home. However, I was quite disappointed with what I received. The package arrived on 7/19/25, and I noticed the expiration date is listed as 9/28/25. This raised some concerns, as I had expected freshly roasted beans, especially given Blue Bottle’s reputation for quality and freshness. Unfortunately, the coffee I received lacks the brightness and flavor profile I’ve come to associate with your brand—it tastes dull and flat, with no noticeable aroma, acidity, or complexity. I’m returning the entire order, as it does not reflect the standard I’ve experienced at your cafés. I wanted to share this feedback in the hope it helps improve the consistency between in-store and online experiences.

Great price, but BB date only a month out
Liked the taste, but they should have mentioned the BB date was almost here. Could be fresher. I bought because we'd been given a gift of a pound. That one was fantastic. Fresh, good flavor, and we liked it. What we purchased was not so good. Just wished we'd been warned.
