Not for PLUS packages
It was easy to activate; however, it was not compatible with the Pay as you go PLUS packages. If you are planning to use those, do not buy this. I went to Vodafone and they told me it's not compatible for some reason, and they gave me a new SIM card.

Don't buy! Waste of Time!
I called the customer support number to get it activated, they told me to go to the nearest Vodafone store to get it activated. I went to the store and the salesperson told me to call the support number as they don't have the authority to activate the sim. What a waste of time!

Simply inserted into my unlocked phone, flew to the UK. I had loaded 20.00 UKP on to my online Vodafone account which I had created prior to travel and made calls in the UK when taxing to the gate on landing. Found costs to be very reasonable compared to T-Mobile UK. AT&T charge $10.00 day fixed each day you use your US phone for any call in the UK or to USA. I was there for three weeks and topped up Vodafone 30.00 UKP in all. I had emailed the number to a list of potential and regular UK contacts. All very very good value and super simple. Purchased the SIM on AMAZON two days before my departure.
