Does the job well and with a bit of practice it's going to be ideal.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this to try and make painting the 6 foot fence in my garden not such a chore this year. I decided to test it out on some wooden garden furniture that intended to prime before glossing. And it seems to have handled it admirably. (see video)I thought it was going to be a bit complicated after reading the instructions but it was easy enough really. It's going to take a bit of practice and trial and error to get coverage exact, but for a first go am really pleased. I'll need to thin the fence paint down a bit as per the test instructions, but with this sprayer you could have 2 coats done in a lot less time than one coat using a brush or roller. Cleaning wasn't bad either. The quality is very good and I'm not suprised as I have a few Tacklife products and they are always well made.

simply excellent, powerful and precise spray gun, just keep 50 to 500mm max distance away from wall/fence when spraying
Excellent spray gun from Tacklife. I have used with three different type of fence & stains and all has worked exceptionally well. :) Yes, you do get messy especially if its windy so cover yourself, dust mask/safety goggles etc. I have done 9 fence panels in under 40mins, however I must say the 800ml tank goes very quick, wish if it was 1200ml at least so you can do roughly 2/3 panels ( one side ) in one go before the next refill.*** Instructions are horrible, the most complicated to follow!I have used following paints, fence treatment products with Tacklife so far;*** Cuprinol 5 Year Ducksback Shed & Fence Treatment - standard version which is not marked as ''spray-able'' but works perfect in this spray gun, no need to thin any further*** Shed and Fence Treatment (from Aldi) - standard version which is not marked as ''spray-able'' but works perfect in this spray gun, no need to thin any further*** Baufix 5ltr Wood Preserver (from Lidl) (its bit watery product) - works perfect in this spray gun, no need to thin any further*** Cleaning: is also very simple, wash (washable parts only!) with water.*** Aftercare: after done all the cleaning add some spirit/thinner or just water (if used water based paint) and drain in sink/basin like you are spraying on the wall.

Brilliant
I bought this gun almost a full year before I finally got around to using it - and it's absolutely brilliant. We have c50 fence panels around the garden and this device allowed us to paint them in about four hours or so.I had two minor issues: 1. the paint tank in the sprayer is quite small (but it would weigh much more if bigger) and 2. the power cable is quite short. There have been a few comments re the device getting blocked. We painted about eight panels and it seemed to give up the ghost - i.e. only air was coming through. MY wife was despatched to clean it while i carried on the old-fashioned way (with a paint brush). I was seriously fed up by the time she returned - about ten minutes later - having removed a pebble or something like that from the gun. I fired it up and away we went! See photo of me, spraying happily. Oh, one other thing - we got the best results with one of us following the sprayer, with a brush to distribute the paint if it went on heavy, or to top up of it went on light. It's an absolutely marvellous piece of kit and i am delighted with it (hence my posting this review). There was minimal assembly, the instructions were pretty straightforward and other than that little blockage, no issues with use. Cleaning was easy, too, but I was using fairly runny fence paint.

Cant fault it, for its price its spot on
When it comes to painting 30ish fence panels and you really dont want to outlay £60+ on a proper fence panel sprayer this baby comes to life.It was a spur of the moment purchase the day before my task was to begin.Let me set the scene...Twas a warm and still morning in the midlands, the sun was just poking its head above the trees, lay ahead of me 30 6.5ft panels and two gates i was armed with 9 tubs of ronseal i got from costco on a deal. The fence sprayer reviews are full of broke after one use, kept getting blocked, motor cut out, my arm hurts from pumping.I pick up my trust tacklife sprayer and i fill the pot (which is WAY to small btw)did i water the paint down? did i heck! i put on the biggest tip and hung a sheet over the white walls down the side of the house, i started going slowly spraying in a nice smooth pattern, then i got bored and just went full power.I chewed through my task in a day, adding an extra hour and a half to do the gate by hand because it was spraying over the walls through the sheet (this babys got some umph)anywho TLDRTis good, it works, it didnt block once for me, even coming back to use it a few weeks later to give the shed a new coat it worked fine.Cleaning is easy, it dismantles wellonly draw back is the size of the pot it did about a panel and a bit before running out, not a major issue but was a bit of a nuisance after several hours of painting having to refill it.

Great Value, Does the Job
Bought to paint pebble dash with masonry paint on house (which is usually slow and tedious with rollers/brushes). To rent a sprayer was 3X what I paid for this sprayer - worth the try.Positives: Did the whole 2 story house in 2 days, very good coverage (could get away with 1 coat, but did 2), amazing value for the price!!Negatives: A bit fiddly to figure out the first time (and to clean)....but with a litle patience, well worth it! Container a bit small, so need to refill paint frequently.Tip: I followed the advice of other reviewers about the thinning of the paint and went a bit thicker (also per the reccommendations on the paint I purchased, which was made for masonry spraying). There is a bit of splatter, but nothing excessive (though I'm not sure I'd use this indoors).Overall: Perfect for outdoor applications and couldn't beat the price. I'd buy again, but don't expect I'd need too...good quality and cleaned up well.
