Yes indeed it would, the fans are completely reversible and can therefore be fitted either inside or outside the cabinet. I fitted mine inside as there was plenty of space behind the home cinema/DVD recorder units, and it works faultlessly on just the low speed in keeping them cool.

Will these fans work for 2 consoles on the back of av cabinet as an exhaust using a usb y splitter for power? to both?

These fans have are hard-wired together. With the option to days chain another set as they have a female USB in lime as well. They have three speeds.

I have a water cooled gaming pc under my desk and need a fan to give air flow on top of my pc is still powerful enough.

Providing there is somewhere for the air to go (i.e. the PC is not completely closed in) and not knowing how hot it gets on top of your PC, I would have thought so. They are great fans, especially if you get AC Infinity temp/thermostat control switch so it kicks on when the temp exceeds a preset threshold. They do bigger USB fans, I think the next one up is 120, if you want a step up. I personally think they are the best USB fans for a good balance of power and quietness.

How much power do these consume?
