etc over the years and these bottles are great. The latest kid hasn't suffered from colic
Have used Tommee Tippee, Medella, etc over the years and these bottles are great. The latest kid hasn't suffered from colic. Only gripe is sometimes the lids leak, which you only discover when the muslin around the baby's chin is soaked. Still not sure why they sometimes leak as there doesn't really seem to be any regularity to it.Oh and if you put hot water into them (70+C), seal them and walk with them they do leak regularly. I think it's something to do with the anti-colic tubes that suck up the water as the pressure inside the sealed bottle changes. This isn't the same as the random leak when feeding though. On balance I would definitely buy these again over the other bottles.

Leaking issue spoil an otherwise good bottle
We bought these for our new born daughter and initially really liked them as they were reasonably easy to put together, use etc and seemed to work very well. However after a three months use the bottles began to leak randomly at inopportune moments with the leaks getting progressively worse over time. By 5 months use you would regularly be feeding the baby in the dark in the small hours of the morning with her half asleep and suddenly you'd discover she was drenched from a badly leaky bottle and needed a full change of sleeping bag, clothes etc. Needless to say a few nights of these drenchings followed by full changes and the resultant lost hours of sleep and we were cursing dr brown and his bottle set. After 5 months I'd had enough and emailed dr browns who sent us replacement vents etc which are so far (touches wood) leak free. However we've only had them 2 months so far and since we're using them in exactly the same manner I'd imagine its only a matter of time before they go the same way. FYI - if you do look at dr browns site it does list possible reasons for leaks such as heating with vents in, shaking etc none of which applied to our usage. Its a shame really that they are let down by durability issues because they are otherwise good bottles. If they hadn't had this limitation I would recommend them but given that you would expect to be using bottles for a year minimum and these last 3 months before starting to fail they aren't really fit for purpose.

Life Saver!
We were using one of the most popular brand of bottles however my baby got Colic symptoms and previously my baby daughter would get wind in her stomach towards the end of the feed and this only got worse as time progressed. Both my wife and I were stressed what to do due to her constant crying several times during the day. My neighbour said to us that she used Dr Brown's Bottle for both her kids and they were absolutely fine. Since we were desperate to try out anything we went for these bottles and since we switched the bottles she has not had colic attacks. Such a relief! Would recommend it to any parent who is having similar issues.

High price, poor quality
I ordered these far in advance of my baby being born so have missed the return window, sadly.Considering the price of these bottles I'm very disappointed with them. They leak and we find it near impossible to put the lids on & then have to use a screwdriver to remove them at the 3am feed!!!! I would like to be able to return the whole set for a refund!

Great kit!
Great kit!! Seen other people said the kid doesn't fit well but I disagree it's obviously not meant to close tight or it would explode in ur microwave! It sits on loosely to allow steam out I presume! If u position bottles correctly it will work fine! Bottles a great job as always! They will leak if u put too hot of water in them when u shake them but mine are fine as I use the tommy tippee prep machine! If making up by hand just make sure they are cool enough before putting the bits in and they will work fine!! Great kit great price!!

Colic free
Pro: advertised as anti-colic, have been using for 10wks and baby is colic free. Seems to have worked. Comes with cleaning brushes which are really useful and quite expensive singularly. Get a lot for your money in this set although we did buy more bottles desperately to cover night feeds.Con: Bottle brush broke in half after a few weeks from being twisted inside bottle. Steriliser is quite big and won't fit in a small microwave. Bottles leak when hot water is used. Have burnt myself previously but now use completely cooled water.Overall: can't 100% say these bottles prevented the colic but believe they have helped. Well worth the money to be colic free!

Good to cure colic.
This is an excellent product if your baby is suffering from colic. We tried several brands and this was the one that works well for us.It is a bit expensive but will definitely try it if you have tried several brand already.

They actually work as advertised!
This actually works. I used dr brown’s bottles for both my babies and none of them had collics or gas problems. They actually do what they promis. I also bought them for other baby showers. I think this is the best gift you can give considering the pain it saves you from!
