This might well be the harshest 4-star rating I’ve given because, despite this product failing, it was most likely aided through improper storage – namely, me storing it on end, allowing the water to seep down into it & to make things worse, baking/contracting in front of a window.No ‘most likely’ about it, I definitely shortened the units shelf life.My bad.Live & hopefully learn one hopes.I used some gorilla glue, a small clamp and some clingfilm to fix it & it is as good as new again.In fairness, it is a great brush & you can see from the attached photos that it has held its shape & bristles after almost two years – that’s impressive!When I first got it, I was put off by the odour from the bristles but that soon goes away & badger hair is undoubtedly the way to go.It seems small but thanks to the shape it can be held in various ways & whips up a good lather in no time, applies in a uniform fashion covering all contours & rinses easily.Just get a stand for it & allow it to hang dry & you’ll knock years out of it.Highly recommend.BTW:The photos are from a few months after purchase followed by the recent failing & fix, which are from last week.If you are wondering about something I have not covered, ask away & when I see it, I will answer your query as best I can. Unfortunately, I do not get notifications of comments, but I check periodically for them none the less.

This has been doing its job well for 18 months now.Dropped it once in the sink and the top came apart from the bottom. Soon sorted with superglue and it’s now as good as ever.Does the job well, much better than cheaper alternatives and I have a feeling it will last a long time.

Fantastic brush for someone trying out this method of shaving. Having used it a good few months now I haven't experienced any negatives. I'm sure that there are higher quality brushes and now that I'm familiar to shaving this way I'm ready to find out but I'm glad I bought this brush. Would recommend for 'beginners' like myself who don't want to pay through the nose to try out shaving the old school way.

Looks a great product super soft but has a animal smell when used STRANGE

Lovely soft brush, holds the soap well and spreads well.Update: Having had this Brush for a while now, well around 18 months, its still OK, but boy does it shed bristles. I thought over time it would improve, just in case of loose hairs after manufacture, but sadly the brush keeps on moulting. Its nice and soft and spread well, didn't get any smell as others have indicated, but let down by the bristles.

Worked well straight out of the box but losing hairs at a an alarming rate - had hoped that the brush would last longer than cheaper alternatives but was wrong.Had to unblock the sink after 3 months as the trap was full of hair...Also doubt that the handle is ebony as described - looks and feels like plastic!Would not buy again - a waste of my money!

... die Haare sind weich, beim Einseifen gibt es auf Grund der nassen Naturhaare zwar einen Geruch, der aber durchaus aushaltbar ist. Er wird sich sicher noch legen, wie bei anderen Pinseln auch.Direkt aufgefallen ist mir die gute Schaumbildung und besonders, dass beim Einseifen keinerlei Haare ausgegangen sind. Das hebe ich hier besonders hervor, da ich bisher ein wesentlich teureres Produkt, knapp dreifach so teuer, benutzte, wo regelmäßig reihenweise Haare verloren gingen und die Schaumbildung auch nach 10 Monaten noch nicht so ausgeprägt war wie bei diesem Produkt.Sollte es zu späteren unerwarteten Veränderungen kommen, werde ich mich an dieser Stelle nochmals melden.Übrigens kam der Pinsel wie versprochen nach knapp anderthalb Tagen an.

Es una brocha suave, frondosa y que produce abundante espuma combinada con un buen jabón de afeitar.Si bien al principio tiene un olor un poco desagradable, es lo normal en brochas de pelo natural cuando son nuevas. Si te afeitas todos los días en una semana el olor ya ha desaparecido.Llevo utilizándola un mes, sólo me queda la duda de cuanto durará.Recomendable brocha de pelo de tejón a un precio inmejorable.

Contacté par le vendeur qui m'a envoyé un nouveau blaireau, ce dernier est de bien meilleure qualité...Le premier devait être défectueux.Après quelques mois d'utilisation, ce blaireau perd ses poils en permanence (au minimum 4 ou 5 par rasage...).Donc, à éviter...! Je suis très surpris des commentaires positifs sur ce produit !
