722.9 Transmission Gear Shift Module Control Unit ISM Intelligent Servo Module Compatible with Mercedes Benz W164 X164 W166 X166A0002701752 A0002701852

Was not expecting this to work as plug and play based on forums talks etc... however I was pleasantly surprise that it shifted with no issues right after installing it."Drive directly to shop do not shift gears" I kept getting this message on almost every drive, I ignored it till a few days ago it completely died luckily right as I got home, and as soon as I opened the door the vehicle display the message and the key did not turn over anymore.I used iCarsoft MB II, for MB and cleared the codes, then I disconnected the battery and went to work on replacing the ISM, after the replacement I again check for codes and erased, turned over the key the vehicle came alive once again.First attempt at shifting was unsuccessful and frustrated I tried all the gears and boy was I surprise when it shifted to drive after it worked no codes no lights!Will update if something happens!Also don't ignore this light, I got lucky that I was manage to get home and had the ability to work on it, it could have been such a headache if I hadn't/couln't.
