Absolutely brilliant
It amazed me how much better this keyboard has made my iPad experience. The keyboard has turned it into a mini laptop/notebook. Even though it doesn't work with all of the apps i have, it works with the ones that matter to me, news, safari and word. I do not write many emails, but need to take notes through my work. The keyboard itself is very well made and holds the iPad in place when in use, and as a cover. The base of the keyboard is made of aluminium and with the iPad attached a lot of metal is exposed, which is why i bought a pouch to transport the two.It was very easy to set up and pair the 2 devices and it also seems to come fully charged, as a week in i have still not needed to charge the keyboard. Typing with the keyboard it great. I have large hands, but still manage to type well. Sometimes i do hit the iPad with my fingers, but most of the time I don't.Buying this keyboard has made my decision on what family device to buy next as my son will be starting school soon. I would highly recommend this keyboard, and if it were to break after the 18 month warranty i would not hesitate in buying another.

pleased. The keyboard layout is just like the Logitech's ...
Wanted to get a keyboard for an iPad Air 2. I had used a Logitech keyboard for an older iPad. I bought the Anker product because I wanted to try something different, the reviews said it had a UK keyboard layout, and the price was right. I've been using the Anker product about a month and am, in general, pleased. The keyboard layout is just like the Logitech's - not really UK. The @ sign is over the 2 key instead of the single quote. But the '£' symbol is represented over the 3 key, so that's an improvement. The Anker keyboard does not not fit as "snugly" on my iPad as the Logitech did on the previous model (the keyboard isn't EXACTLY the same size as the iPad), but there is no fear that the two will separate unexpectedly. The pop-up support is a nice touch and gives a feeling of additional security. It also supports the keyboard when vertical. The iPad tended to fall over on the Logitech when I tried the vertical position. The really nice part for me is the feel of the keys. They have a nice solid feel that I love. I think most touch typists will appreciate that.I am really pleased with the purchase so far.

Nifty little thing
Great way to turn your iPad into a laptop basically. Here are the reasons I give it 4 out of 5...Pros:LightweightEven works with a silicone gel cover on the iPadThe keyboard keys are nice to the touch and feel very much like you're on a laptop.Very easy to connectFeels like it is good qualityCan withstand a drop (but I do not recommend trying it out)Easy to see keysCons:I dont have long nails at all, however the medium length nails I do have make it difficult to access the top row without having to raise my hand to press the key fully - the groove of the iPad stand is possibly just a bit too close to the number/function keys. The apostrophe key is not workingWhen the iPad is on charge, the keyboard seems to lag for some reason. I cannot get it to function correctly at all and it even effects the functionality of the ipad when using the screen to press things. So have to charge when not using keyboard.Other than that, great little keyboard!

A good value keyboard cover
This makes it so much easier to type on my iPad Air 2! Pairing with the iPad was very simple. For apps that support bold text, italics and underlining, standard Mac-style keypress commands make things straightforward. Copying, cutting and pasting is similarly easy. You can also use the keyboard to change brightness and volume settings. The iPad is held securely by a magnet, both when the keyboard cover is closed and when the iPad is slotted into a groove when the keyboard is in use. Please note that, when you are using the iPad you have to detach it first from the cover before either using it without the keyboard or slotting it into the groove for use with the keyboard. For me this is an advantage: with some other keyboard covers, the iPad stays in the cover when the keyboard is in use, and with some it is quite difficult to remove the iPad from the cover. The cover sits on the lap if you wish; and the angle of the iPad is comfortable. All in all, good value, significantly cheaper than e.g. Logitech's equivalent, and recommended.

Great chargeable keyboard
I love this product. It works very well and makes my iPad into an laptop. I used to have a battery operated one that was a pain and I needed to change the batteries all the time. The Anker Keyboard is chargeable which I just love. So much better for the environment so it’s more eco friendly then the battery operated keyboard. The Anker Keyboard connected smoothly to my iPad and I haven’t had any problems with it so far. I’m not using it on a daily basis but regularly. I will definitely never buy a battery operated keyboard again...ever! I can only recommend this item as it’s working well for myself. I hope you find my review helpful in any way. Thank you ❤️

Excellent product makes a laptop almost unnecessary
An excellent product. I used it extensively during a trip recently and it made using my new iPad Air 2 for quite extended emails very easy. I won't be taking my laptop anywhere now.I bought a Silver IPad so I was keen to make sure the keyboard would complement it, which it does very nicely. It is more robust than you'd expect from a product of this price and the keyboard has a good quality feel too. The magnetic clasps are all suitably strong but the pad is easily separated from the keyboard if you want. I bought a ETech® Protective Sleeve Pouch Case Bag with Elastic Memory Foam for iPad 2/3/4 for £7.95 to protect my iPad when travelling and the whole lot worked really well.

Not as good as the previous model, but still pretty good.
Overall this is a good keyboard, but has 2 faults in my opinion when compared with my Anker keyboard for the iPad 3:1. The magnet on the hinge isn't as strong, so doesn't hold the iPad as well when closed.2. The groove for standing the iPad in needs redesigning slightly. On the previous model the iPad set deep in the groove and gave no hint of coming loose. The new iPad shape is fatter at the edges and doesn't sit as well. I've had the iPad fall out several times after minor jiggles.
