Great little gizmo and exactly what I needed. I never use cds anymore and I didn't want to attach anything to my windscreen. I have a headset from this brand, which is of questionable quality, however this holder is solid and doesn't rattle when you drive. It also protrudes out so you can access the button that it overshadows.I've added plenty of photos so you can see how it fits.

Does exactly what it claims to do. Much easier than using the air vents where stability is an issue. As the CD player is in the centre console this is ideal if you are using a Sat Nav app in the phone as both driver and passenger can read the screen. When fitting mine I turned the device upsisde down so that the screw tightener was underneath the mount and was out of the way of the radio controls on the dashboard. Easy to fit (5 mins at most) and is very firm. I am not too sure how this would work if you use the CD player a lot, but as I don't use mine it is great. At last someone has come up with a decent phone holder!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this phone holder is. I have a few MPOW products so was happy going with the brand and it came well presented in a nice box and was easy to assemble, just screw the holder to the mount and put 3 sticky pads on the mount clamps. It fitted my 2012 Fiesta fine albeit it covers a few buttons on the stereo but they are still easily accessible. The clamp fits in the CD holder well enough and due to the fact that the CD slot in my car is angled up around 45 degrees it doesn't need the clamp to be tightened a lot to get it to stay in place. My phone has a 6.2" screen so is on the larger size including the case but it fits in the jaws of the clamp easily and the little legs hold the phone in place vertically. The phone holder moves around a little in the cd slot but this is probably as I haven't tightened it a lot but it never looks like coming detached. It's easy to remover the phone with one hand using the little release button on the side of the holder which releases the jaws of the holder and leaving the phone sat on the little armrests. I guess fitment is going to vary from car to car dependant on how your CD slot is orientated but you can choose to fit the clamp adjusting wheel facing up or down and this will either raise or lower where your phone sits in relation to the CD slot giving a little more adjustment. I would guess that this would fit 75% of cars with no real issues albeit some of the buttons might be a little obscured by your phone.It feels sturdy and well made and seems like it's going to last for a while. Overall I would recommend this phone holder and have found it to be very useful and saves your phone having to be stored in the dash, probably sliding about somewhere and picking up knocks and scratches.

Great product - without a doubt this is beter than any window/suction-mounted unit or clip-onto-air-vent unit I've tried before.The only issue I had was I had to replace the provided tightening screw with a spare I had (with a smaller head) due to how the stereo is fitted in the car, as the original one got caught on the outer casing around the stereo, but otherwise it’s a great design and for the price it’s definitely worth it. The only time it's no use is if you want to put a CD in the car stereo!!I have already recommended it to friends who are interested.

I had been looking for a long time to find an unobtrusive,robust phone holder. I didn't want one stuck to the glass and ones that plug into the cigarette lighter are too bulky and put too much strain on the lighter socket, finding this was a eureka moment !I'm using this with a 5.7" phone, so not small, but it holds it perfectly. I have never used the CD player in my car so this was a perfect solution.Overall very pleased and happy to recommend.

The low stars are not really needed unless the reviewers happened to be unlucky enough to get a faulty product. If not then problems are with human error in the way of over tightening, not releasing the screw before inserting the ball swivel part etc. I found this product to the solid and well made and perfectly holds my 225gram rugged phone with no shake or issues unless on a really bumpy road in which case it's minimal. If your looking at your phone enough to notice small shakes then you should probably keep your eyes on the road more. Love this and fully recommend. I didn't even put the extra pads on and it's still holding solid after 4 weeks of use.

A superb piece of kit - very well engineered. There is a video on the Amazon site which shows how to assemble it [easy - 4 mins] and then fitting it into my car was a piece of cake. It is rock solid in the CD holder and it looks great. I use it for holding my iphone when I am using the navigation app and it works a treat.Highly recommended.

cant use my radio with ease while this thing is in BUT I don't anyway as I need to hear the sat nav, so if you use it for music it might be better to get a vent or window mount? but anyway out of all the ways to attach my phone to the car i found this the most easy to do, its quick to put in and take off, it holds, and is stiff and movable for all angles, one downside that dosn't bother me but the fabric in the cd slot holder has been ruffled a bit, if that's a deal breaker to you it is slightly noticable but for me window and vent mounts are too loose and fall off sometimes.
