Biltong Bites Chilli 250g

Excellent. Will be buying it again.

The price can be slightly steep, but the prices in shops are HORRENDOUS either way.I bought 1KG to last a while, and they did last! Never dried out to where it was like chewing metal and the taste/spice remained for weeks/month or so of being open.

I do like my chilli bites to be dry but some of these genuinely hurt your teeth they are so hard and some sticks are way too thick. That said, the flavour is excellent and price is too. I will probably buy again because I have strong teeth lol but buyers should be aware you'll need a good set of gnashers to eat these!

Great, authentic product. A guilt free snack. Popular with all our family, especially my protein loving son who these were a gift for. Much better than the processed, additive loaded packets from the supermarket.

I don't know what the process is for making these but the texture and taste is very inconsistent even between sticks found in the same packet. I saw complaints of it being hard, some are harder than others. Initially I didn't mind the hardness as it helps the jaw work but some of them have a lot of dry blood that tastes pretty bad. There are some that have just the perfect texture balance to give you a good chew and not taste like rotten blood. There are some that are simply too hard, I know you might think "that's the point" but I'm not talking chewy hard, I mean hard enough to chip your teeth if you're not careful.It might be the nature of how these are made or there is inconsistency in employees/ different skills. I'm going with the latter. For that reason I will say that these are far too expensive to have the issues I've mentioned

I always purchase this brand. They are above and beyond all others I’ve tried. Highly recommend. Flavour is good and they are very tough to chew which I like. Only thing is the price, but again you pay more for quality.

Didn’t enjoy this product, I eat chili bites near daily as a protein snack, and this is probably the worst I’ve eaten. Cuts are way too thick and dry as bone, also not spicy at all.

This, is how I remember what real biltong is like, from my time in Africa.Hard sticks of meat without a ton of added flavours like chilli biltong! May not be what some like as we are so used to the rubbish we get offered nowadays pretending to be biltong. Would recommend everyone tries it at least once to see what you think.

The chilli stokkies are absolutely fantastic, well dried and well spiced. The original is also dried well with close to no fat. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed both.

Echt lecker!!! Da werden Erinnerungen wach. 2010 für 6 Wochen in Heidelberg (SA) gewesen und hab mich fast ausschließlich von Biltong und Bier ernährt. Die Chili Sticks haben genau so geschmeckt!! Vielen Dank und Daumen hoch 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼.

Die Chili Stripes sind klasse. Nicht zu scharf. Allerdings sind die normalen nicht so lecker. Auch scheinen die nicht zu Ende gedörrt zu sein. Die sind einiges weicher und geschmackloser. Schade

Geschmack ist super aber man kann es absolut nicht kauen. Ich habe super Zähne aber man braucht für ein Stück locker 4-5 Minuten. Wenn man 2 fertig hat tut der Kiefer weh. Absolut unmöglich, sogar mit nem scharfen Küchenmesser kann man es kaum zerteilen. Qualität von Fleisch auch katastrophal und mit dicken langen Sehnen durchzogen. Werde die Packung wegwerfen echt schade.

Schmackhaftes Trockenfleisch, mehr als genug. Gerne wieder.
