Basic Bluetooth Connectivity, Great For Music
Works great in my Ford Focus MK2.5, I just turn it on when I get in and my Huawei Nexus 6P automatically syncs from memory. Sound quality is great, although I do get some background noise when I turn the volume up, which gets worse when I have the blowers on. I read recently that a ground loop isolator may help reduce the noise, which are cheap on Amazon, but it doesn't bother me too much. I don't have much experience using it as a hands free kit, I've tried it a few times but it seems a bit of a hassle to get it going each time. Perhaps it's just me, I don't take many calls while driving anyway. You might be better off with a Parrot system or something, if telephone calls will be your primary use. The unit itself looks sleek and feels decent quality. It has an impressively sticky pad on the back which is well and truly stuck to my dash, no risk of that falling off. Skips tracks back and forward with the left and right buttons but obviously this doesn't link up with the stalk controls on my steering wheel, other than the volume, which isn't a big deal. One small thing I noticed, the unit stays on for a few minutes after you turn the engine off. Sometimes your phone will stay paired with the device so if you're in the house and your car is on the driveway, your phone will try and play sound through the device still (obviously no sound comes out of the car because the head unit is turned off). Turning Bluetooth off and on again or just waiting five minutes or so fixes the issue when the unit turns off.

9/10 product. The BEST way to add bluetooth functionality to your stereo.
I have bought several Anker products in the last 6 months, starting with some basic, but beautifully made micro USB cables. Each product I've bought since has affirmed my belief that Anker is truly a company that knows what they are doing. Buying products like this is generally hit and miss, and I've gotten more junk than I would care to count, but all of the Anker products I've bought so far have been excellent. First Impressions: This unit is TINY. Much smaller than I expected. In fact, it's about half the size it appeared (to me) in pictures. It is nicely made and well finished, with quality plastics and devoid of gaps or quality issues. One negative appears here: The aux section of the cable is a little thin, so I will wait and see how that holds up. Installation: The unit is a cinch to install. I hooked the USB connector up to an Anker PowerDrive 2, and used a 3.5mm coupler to attach the aux cable to the male aux cable I have attached to my stereo (Audi Concert Radio using a Connects 2 aux adapter which connects to the CD changer port on the back of my stereo) This bit will be even simpler for most, as the male aux cable will simply plug into the aux port for their stereo directly. Ease of use: There are 4 buttons. One to turn the unit on, one for voice calls, and two for moving the track forward or back when listening to music. The SoundSync connected first try to my Oneplus One via bluetooth, and has had no problems staying paired. All of the buttons work to activate calls or when listening to music, although there is a slight delay of 2-3 seconds when changing tracks. (Which could be just as easily attributed to my phone) Sound Quality: I am somewhat of an audio purist, and have no problem choosing a setup that is a little more difficult and expensive to get the best sound quality. I chose to get this bluetooth kit to simplify listening to music on car journeys in the morning - I no longer have to fiddle around connecting my phone to the aux port before taking off, and the girlfriend really appreciates this. It came as a surprise then when the audio quality was virtually indistinguishable from using the aux port on my phone directly. Colour me IMPRESSED. I have not assessed call quality yet, but will report back when I do. Other details: The unit comes with a decent looking stick attachment on the rear of the main control unit and can be mounted to the dash (or wherever you choose). I have yet to settle on a final location and mount mine, but have stuffed it in the cigarette tray instead. personally I would have liked the USB and aux cables to be detachable from the unit so I could have more flexibility in where and how I mount the unit, but that too would come with its own drawbacks. Summation: This is a great product from a company which makes great products. Simple really, but unfortunately uncommon these days. If you want to add the ability to listen to music and make and take calls over bluetooth to your car, you cannot go wrong with the SoundSync. Quality: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Usability: 8/10 Overall: 9/10

Brilliant alternative to trailing wires all over the car
This is a great little gadget for those who, like me don't have a Bluetooth receiver built into their car but want the freedom to listen to your music or sat nav on your phone without wires all over the place. You simply plug this into the AUX port in your car and connect to your phone or device. It's really that simple. A couple of very small downsides for me: - To get this working clearly, I have to use it with a ground loop isolator. A really easy fix and not an expensive fix but it does make things a little bulkier at the AUX port. - Like other reviewers say, you have to manually turn this on when you get in the car but as this takes less than a second - it's really not an issue for me. - The main downside for me is the volume. This may be my car as much as the Bluetooth receiver but I find that my music is much quieter than it was when I plugged my phone in directly with an AUX lead. Still loud enough for a good sound but a little frustrating none the less.

Erwartungen in vollem Umfang gerecht.
