QcK S (QcK Mini)

Have been using the QcK Mini for a few days with a Steel Series Rival optical mouse and am very happy with it as the mouse glides across the surface like it's not even touching it. For me the size is perfect as it leaves plenty of room on my desk for a large mechanical keyboard with three extra rows of buttons at one end and I can easily move the cursor form one side of a 24" screen to the other using about half of the mat. Can't speak to the longevity that others have commented on, however it is a rubber mouse mat with a woven surface so I wouldn't expect it to last forever and at this price it's easy and cheap enough to replace that I'm not too worried about it. Lays completely flat on the desk with no lifting at the corners at all as it was packed rolled with the underside facing inwards and I can't say I've noticed any smell at all. Over all I'm very happy and would definitely recommend to another buyer.

So I purchased this mouse mat, and since doing so would not go back to an alternative. I have had Razer Mouse Mats and Corsair Mousemats but this has been my favorite by far. I'm not a fan (at all) of hard mousemats so this "cloth" mousemat was perfect for me. I will say that I very quickly replaced this one, with a normal sized QcK as the mini is literally the size of a piece of bread. Not great for gaming. However I repurchased and got the bigger version, keeping the mini for use at work. The sticky at the bottom of the mousemat is VERY durable and the mousemat doesn't move around your desk whilst gaming. I use this predominantly for FPS and MOBA's and it performs great in both settings. I have noticed, after a while of use it can start to irritate your hand a little, slightly like the cloth is beginning to rub. Also, when it first arrives it does come very tightly packed and is packed wrapped up. This means for the first couple of days, it may not sit perfectly flush to the desk, as the ends are still slightly curved. However this quickly disappears and sites very nicely on the desk. I use this with the SteelSeries Rival 300 Mouse and they look great together. I'd love to see an RGB version of a cloth mouse mat, and think this could easily be done by using the standard hardbase RGB mouse mats have, but then using cloth for the actual surface. I would definitely recommend this product, and would re-purchase if I needed to.

Great size, great material on top and below, and a cost effective purchase. Got 2 and highly recommend these mouse mats.

I use this mostly for office and productivity work, but I'm on the PC for ~12 hours a day between work and home. This costs pretty much the same as any other mouse mat out there but it has a smooth surface, with the right amount of traction to stop the mouse running away in its own. I do feel 2mm is a little thin and would prefer it to be 3-4mm, but that's a personal preference and does not have any bearing on the performance of the product.

What can I say other than it works as it is supposed too!! The box is branded with the steelseries logo and the specs of the mousepad. The mouse pad itself comes rolled up in the box. It features the steelseries logo in the bottom left in white of cause. The bottom feature a non slip rubber coating, which stops it sliding an virtually any surface. The top of the mouse mat is made of fine cloth which allows the mouse to slide around freely with ease. I would like the mouse pad be slightly thicker to make it more padded and nicer to rest your hand on. The cloth is ideal and also allows it to be rolled up and become portable. Overall the mouse pad is good quality and works brilliantly on most surfaces, its size is also good as it doesn't take up to much room and is just the right size for an average desk I feel. I would defiantly recommend!

[Small Size] Grips ok to desk but does move a bit after a while, the mouse glides smoothly. Needs rolling the other way when taken out the packaging as its rolled up, but it now sits flat after 2 days and some bending the other way. Will update as time goes on... After 6 months still in excellent condition, washes very easy with a damp cloth. One year later and still faultless, no fraying, not worn out. Amazing product! UPDATE: Got a new one which looks a bit cheaper quality than the older one, but it does not need rolling the other way straight out of the packaging and it also grips the desk much better. UPDATE 2: Corner started to ripple after a few months and got gradually worse, so not as well made as last mat from SS. Found a much better mat for £2.50 by VictSing with stitched edges.

I'm certainly not a pro-gamer, however I did want a nice mouse mat for gaming, that wasn't huge (as desk space is at a premium), and that didn't break the bank. Although this is the `mini' size, at about 10"x8.25", I find it to be easily sufficient for me. I like my mouse sensitivity to be fairly high, so I don't need to make large movements with my mouse. It comes wrapped up in a tube, and as other reviewers have mentioned, there are visible creases on the mat for a few days after you initially unwrap it. Don't worry, as these disappear, and don't cause any issues. The mat itself is of a smooth fabric, and provides a nice texture and just the right amount of friction for my liking. It is quite thin, and tends to pick up dust rather easily. A sticky lint-roller once a week and it's as good as new. If you're looking for a cheap, low-profile, discreet mousemat for casual or pro gaming, id definitely recommend this brand in general, although you may want to go a size or two up, depending on how sensitive you like your mouse, and how much desk space you have to spare!

Great product. Perfect size for my needs. Material is decent enough and works well with my current mouse. Good value for money...

I've bought a few of these and they always get a year or two of use before replacement. There isn't much choice for small mousepads. I didn't like the basic Logitech pad but I haven't tried the Amazon brand. I like that the edges don't have a stitched edge so it doesn't bump my mouse. The work surface sticks firmly to the 'rubber' base unlike other pads where the fabric becomes unglued over time.

AGGIORNAMENTO: ACQUISTATO ANCHE QCK PRISM QCK mini: L'ho preso in abbinamento al rival 600, per vedere se un tappetino della stessa marca del mouse possa essere meglio, e infatti lo è! È scorrevolissimo, non scivola manco a pagarlo e la frizione è pochissima! Il mouse sembra volare su questo tappetino. Inoltre è morbido e non fa male al polso. Ho dovuto optare per la dimensione più piccola dato che ho un portatile, ergo non ho una scrivania dove poter mettere il tappeto gigante. Insomma, per 10 euro se avete un mouse steelseries compratelo immediatamente! QCK prism: Ho deciso di sostituire il qck mini con il qck prism XXL, dato che adesso ho abbastanza spazio per piazzare un tappetino xxl. Il mouse pad è ottimo, della stessa fattura del qck mini, e il mouse scorre facilmente sul tappetino. Effetti rgb variegati e ampiamente customizzabili tramite il software steelseries engine 3. Purtroppo, il tappetino va necessariamente attaccato a un PC per funzionare, ma niente di esageratamente grave. Facile da pulire e lavare. Consigliatissimo, forse 60 euro possono sembrare troppi ma è visibilmente durevole e ben costruito

So, should we buy one? Certainly Yes. Mouse pads don’t only improve the performance of a mouse but even protects from wear and tear. Needless to say but all the gamers using high end mouse knows the real value of a high quality mouse pad very well. P.S.
