its a pretty good little claw
its a pretty good little claw, comes fully mechanically and electronically equipped as far as hardware is concerned, however if you have no background in mechatronics or similar stuff with robot arms i'd probably say try find something that has some help with running the arm because this is pure hardware. motors are all good, the way they've coloured the wires is confusing though as they've used differing coloured extenders on some wires so it changes from say orange, red, brown, to white, red, black seemingly randomly.

sainsmart useless company!!! - but good robot
I rarely leaving a comment but I feel I need it do, now. This product easily could achieve a 5 stars however I give max three stars. The reason is because company which manufacture and sell it is useless ! Good design, acceptable manufacturing for robot parts but not support for customer. They advert the TEST code after installation to be supplied (downloaded from their website to start and test robot) unfortunately the link does not work and no one is interested to answer email to give access to code. Has anyone from buyers TEST code for 6 axis control palletizing robot ? I could appreciate if someone would share. I am beginner so my understanding is it could be good start. Finally , excluding ignoring customer the robot looks reliable. I will extend my comment when I start play with robot.

Caution!
They say a micro-controller is need like an Arduino. They say in the MG996 55g Servo Specifications that it draws 100 micro amps. This should say 900 micro amps. Enough to melt your Arduino! You will need a separate power supply and driver board I think.
