ProCase iPhone Xs/iPhone X Genuine Leather Case, Wallet Case Flip Cover with Kickstand Card Slots Magnetic Closure with Auto Sleep/Wake Function for Apple iPhone Xs (2018) / iPhone X (2017) -Brown

I've always preferred wallet cases for my iPhones. They look nice while providing a good level of protection for the phone. I recently ordered a ProCase for an iPhone Xs, and, so far, I'm very satisfied with it. The case is made of real leather and is very nicely stitched together. The phone itself fits into a black plastic frame with a soft, matte finish; the frame holds the phone securely yet gives one access to all necessary controls, speakers, the camera, and the charging port. The frame is mounted securely to the leather case.The case adds some bulk to the phone, but it's not excessive. The edges of the case protrude very slightly beyond the contours of the phone so that if the phone is dropped on its edge, the case takes the impact. There is a magnet in the case which keeps it closed--it's not very strong but seems to hold the case closed well. The left side of the case contains two pockets suitable for credit cards/business cards (I keep only a couple of business cards there) and then a third pocket suitable for cash runs the length of the left side.One can wirelessly charge the phone without removing it from the leather case--it works fine with the charger built into my car. The case also has a crease running lengthwise so that you can prop the phone on its side for watching videos. All in all, this is a well-designed case that looks very nice, appears to be very durable, and is very reasonably priced.

2/3/20. the replacement case I ordered in 11/19 has an improved inner plastic holder. It is much stronger and not brittle. The leather is still high quality. This is a great case.11/26/19 UpdateI just ordered a replacement case because original inner plastic holder had chipped and completely broken off the bottom. The quality of the leather is outstanding, but the plastic holder needs to be improved. This case has provided good protection for my iPhone X. The design is great with space for ids, credit cards and cash. I even bought one for my Mom because she liked mine so much. I have never had a phone cover break apart before. Hopefully, this cover will be more durable.Original ReviewI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this case. The leather is rich, supple and smells great! No plastic smell like some other “genuine leather” cases. The card slots and money pocket are very convenient. My expensive iPhone X is secure and well protected. When aligned correctly, charges on my wireless Mophie charger. This is an excellent value.

I bought this leather case -procase recently, for my new iPhone XS, before I had procase for my Galaxy S9 NOTE, I have to say that the procase for my IPHONE XS is very good in all meanings , People , who saying about cracked frame holding the phone are probably wrong, because the frame is made from a very soft plastic , just can’t cracked, pictures they posted are different from the original item , I noted that ... the place where the case was rubbed , to the condition like that the case has to be carried a year 24/7 in a pocket ... I walk a lot and the phone is always in my pocket , u open and close the case hundreds of times and it’s perfect , very durable , the frame holding the phone is great , magnet works great , leather it made from is great Highly recommend this product to everyone

Bought right as the iPhone X was coming out so I would have a case for it. It is a solid built case and works with my small Mophie Inductive Charger but has to be centered just right or no LED no Charge or Led and a beep every 30 seconds letting you know it isn't centered right but that is between the phone and the Mophie. The thing I have against this case is the magnetic closure. The magnet is located too low for my iPhone X to Auto shut off when closed. I can force the magnetic shut of by contorting the case pushing up on the right side until you hear the "click" and out goes the light. So, I am not a happy camper with that. I assume since I was a first batch customer that the maker guessed at magnetic placement. I've thought about buying a small magnet and maybe gluing it in place but I will probably be replacing the case soon. Otherwise it is a nice leather case to protect the phone. If only the magnet was located properly. Oh and when open for calls and pictures the front flap needs to be out of the way. If you fold it back, you actually cover the rear facing camera. Nice leather case though. Maybe they fixed these issues by now?

Update: I received a new version of this case and it is nice! They replaced the old brittle plastic with one that’s more flexible and is textured on the side for a better grip, It took a couple of months but it was worth the wait because the case is very high quality leather. Thanks to the ladies at ProCase for their help.The leather portion of the case is very nice and well made, how ever the plastic part that holds the phone is apparently made from inexpensive materials, after less than 2 months I discovered cracks on 3 of the 4 corners and pieces missing from 2 corners! I emailed the seller and was told the case only has a 30 day warranty but if I bought 2 more cases they would give me 50% off the second one! I never dropped the phone and there’s not even a mark on the case, it looks new except for the broken corners. I don’t know how often other people buy cases but I only buy one and it last for a few years until I buy a new phone.

I liked the deep red color of the leather, the feel of the leather, softens up with time. the 3 vertical pockets for credit cards and or drivers license work well. The longer vertical pocket directly behind the 3 card pockets is good to put a $20.00 dollar bill or keep receipts. You do not want to over-stuff these pockets as it is leather and will eventually stretch out and not be able to safely keep your cards in place. The kickstand aspect is one of the best I have used. The slant of your phone screen is just right and it stands up over your cards, so you feel secure about them while using this feature.

I am writing this review because I have been so disappointed by other phone covers I have bought...they are often not anything like the picture and the description. This product is terrific, real leather and is the second one I have bought so I could have different colours.

The leather is decent quality, I’ve not noticed any major wear or tear in the weeks I’ve had it but the plastic of the case (in my experience) cracked as soon as I put the phone in. The phone still sits fairly firmly in the case for casual use but if I ever were to drop it the case almost definitely wouldn’t hold the phone in place and protect it.

I have had some bad experience trying to buy 'genuine' leather...this one is genuine and good quality at a reasonable price.

Wrong cover for my phone . but well made

Quite happy with the leather case, but the plastic phone holder has chipped pieces out both top and bottom, and a crack at the top has developed. Only had it a few months and have not dropped it or treated it roughly. Will need to be replaced when the holder no longer supports the phone. Disappointed overall.
