Q: is this drill brushless?

The proper answer is, it has brushes which absolutely can be change quite easily and they'll cost between £10-20. It's a very good value drill

Q: Where i can i buy the correct battery for this model ?(dcd776) i'm trying to replace a dcb185 with a 1.3ah rating. can't find a dewalt one anywhere.

1.3ah imo is a waste of money. I've had 3 and they don't last long before they don't hold a decent charge. You'll be better off getting 2ah or above for longevity. I know a fair amount about batteries, specifically dewalt li-ion 18v/54v. I would recommend 2ah+

Well if you got it with Battery Charger & case for £53 then you're a lucky man. Mine was £98 complete
