Used for garden bench

I have used this oil preparing 8 oak doors for a house I am refurbishing. I would say the finish is absolutely brilliant. The reason for the fine finish is down to the quality of the oil and my preparation of the doors. You have to put the work in to get the surface wright. Sanding the doors by hand and sanding between coats is absolutely needed. I did three coats and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

As an amteur diyer, It's hint of 'yellowisness' kind of alarmed me a bit, However, the finish work was not as bad. I think if applied on appropriate projects, it would shine!

Easily applied and appears to penetrate the wood well ( although varies with wood density)Applied 3 months ago -good so far- but clearly too early to say beyond that

Having never used this product, I figured I would buy it from someone that has been making it for ages. Not only does this small tin go a long way, it is an absolutely fantastic product, and will be used for years to come in future woodworking projects. Absolutely chuffed with this, and am currently working on a very long and routed edge shelf that is Sapele Mahogany with red mahogany stain and the danish oil. The kiln dried timber, and stain, topped with this oil has made a beautiful shelf, and will be used on many other types of wood in the future. A beautiful finish to any woodworking project!

Purchased the Danish oil to put on a neglected spinning wheel. After washing put on the oil and it bought the wood back to life, made such a difference to the wood and look of the wheel. Would definitely use again, which is lucky as the tin will last me forever as a little goes a long long way. Great stuff

used this to seal a coffee table after it has been stripped and stainedGood product did a nice job,only complaint is they put duck tape over the cap and down the tin which pulled the instruction off
