Rust-Oleum 400ml Painter's Touch Spray Paint Aerosol - Cherry Red Gloss

Good all purpose paint. Easy to use with good coverage. Great as a rust resistant, texture and thickness. Smell ok as used in well ventilated area. Price ok

Bought the Cherry Red to spray a set of kitchen scales that were originally pale yellow. Couldn’t find a set of red scales I liked. I was a little apprehensive about finding the right red but it turned out to be perfect and exactly the shade I wanted. Took care masking off the bits I didn’t want to re-colour and after that it was dead easy; took time to apply several light coats over 24 hours and did it outside on a dry, still day. The hardest part was getting the top off the can. It wouldn’t budge so had to pry it off with a knife which ended up breaking the plastic lid. My bloke says this happens to him too! There’s still plenty of paint left in the can after doing this set of scales. Really happy with product and finished result.

We used this spray paint to touch up our garden table. We’d previously bought the same colour from B&N but didn’t have quite enough to finish the job. This Rust‑Oleum Cherry Red Gloss was a perfect colour match and blended in really well with the existing paint. The paint applied smoothly, covered well, and gave a great glossy finish, exactly what we needed to complete the job properly. One can was enough to finish the touch‑ups and the result looks very professional. The only small downside is that the branding has recently changed, which made it a bit harder to be confident we were buying the exact same colour, and if you lose the lid there’s no easy way to see the colour. That said, the performance and finish were excellent, and we’re very happy with the result. Would happily buy again.

Honestly very impressive all things considered. I needed to paint some metal towing eyes and was expecting to need a fair few coats to get the colour I wanted (particularly as I used no primer on an unprepared surface), but it adhered really well and only needed two coats to get the job done, and the colour was accurate and vibrant. I would say it's advisable to leave it 24 hours between coats and to leave it longer before using the end product, as whilst it does dry after 24 hours, it can feel a bit tacky (which indicates it's still a tad soft).

Completely transformed a very cheap little side table into a lovely piece that provides a great contrast in my living room. We certainly didn't use it at ideal temperatures or conditions as it was colder than recommend and dark outside and hard to see while we were doing the last couple of coats but it still turned out really nice. Obviously would reccomend trying to follow what it says on the tin though for the best finish.

Great coverage, lovely finish. Used on a Craftsman mower and the colour match was good enough. Excellent paint.

used rustoleum before and had slighly better results, not sure what went wrong but when dry felt slightly sticky to the touch
