Superior in every way
I purchased this on behalf of my husband as I am already a Mac convert and I just knew he would love it - despite being a devoted Windows fan. However after using MacOS for one day he was delighted to changeover. Without getting too much in to the software, its easy to use than most people think and is the perfect entry-level Mac for anyone wanting a 'clean' user-interface without lag, bugs or issues. As for the actual hardware, the laptop is extremely light, earning its 'air' name. Its also lightning fast and quality is second to none. Battery life last for days with occasional use and all day with heavy use. Absolutely worth every penny. Also, I'm a little bit jealous as I have the new Pro13 and my apple logo doesn't like up like this one does :)

Amazing price for a great laptop
When I saw the price for this, I definitely thought it was too good to be true. Set up was super easy, super lightweight and the perfect laptop for me. I'm not super techy and only need this for basic business things, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who isn't too fussed whether it has all the latest specs.I also read some reviews that complained about it having an American keyboard/looked like a refurbished laptop instead of a new one. Mine looks and feels completely brand new and has a UK keyboard and plug. Worth every penny.

LOVE my Mac
This is my first Mac and it definitely won’t be my last...I love everything about it from how light it is to how easy it is to use AND it has a mahooosive battery life. The only problem that I’ve had is my kids trying to convince me to swap if for one of their laptops!?!I did think that it was a lot of money just for a name but it is a great piece of kit and I definitely won’t be buying any other make from now on.

Wish I had swapped to MacBook Air from Windows Laptop so much sooner
I was hesitant to change to a MacBook Air as I was totally reliant on MS Office for work on my laptop. However given than all of my other devices are Apple I took the plunge and I am so glad that I did. It's super fast, ready to go in seconds. No delay or lag and work seamlessly with my iPhones, iPad and watch. My laptop was frustratingly slow. I'd turn it on, go make a coffee come back and have to wait another 10 minutes to see my emails. So bad. That is now a distant memory! The MacBook Air is also very lightweight and has an exceptional battery life meaning that it's very portable. You can go to a coffee shop without dragging a power cable along. In retrospect I probably would have gone for the retina screen model. Not that my current one is bad, but I have seen the retina screens and they're really clear.

Working so far. The laptop is missing the £ ...
Working so far.The laptop is missing the £ sign which the seller informed me of.The keyboard layout is the US version but I guess it doesn't impact the function of the keyboard.Seller was very helpful, quick replies and it was delivered a day earlier than expected.I've never had a Mac before so it's taking some time to adjust to it but I think it'll be fine.I really like the hinge as it's really smooth, the quality of the camera is better than other laptops that I've had before.I had bought a Microsoft surface recently but decided to send it back after using it only for a few weeks then discovering that it was already slowing down. There were little black squares appearing randomly on my screen when using PowerPoint. Not sure why as it's new, and for around the same price I'd rather have a proper laptop than a mix of laptop and tablet, seeing as I never really use it as a tablet anyway. After my friend's recommendation I decided to try a Macbook Air instead so here we are! Let's hope it continues to work well. Very expensive but I've heard people saying that it still works as fast as when they first bought it even after five years so I guess I'm taking a bit of a risk. In the last two years I've bought a few laptops and had to send it back, or just buy new ones because they just didn't work anymore so I thought I'd try something expensive, which everyone seems to swear by.

Beautiful
Beautiful looking laptop, very light. Starts up fast and easy to use, even if you have only used windows machines in the past. Yes this is my 1st Apple Mac and it is pretty straight forward to use.The fast start-up may just be due to its newness as most laptops I have bought in the past have been pretty fast initially. Is it worth the double price of a more regular laptop? well I can't say yet as time will tell. I have always bought the best spec for the least cost in the past and found out that I needed to replace or update every 4 years or so for laptops around the 300-400 pound mark (just realised that there is no pound sign on the keyboard and don't know how to pull up the symbols yet). So is it worth the extra? definitely if it lasts twice as long and probably if it lasts somewhere in between but if it only lasts 4 years or less then probably not unless looks are all your worried about.

Absolute bargain...!!!
MacBook was brand new in the box & at an amazingly low price. It was a gift for my daughter to use during her studies. She unboxed it, set it up in minutes & it is working perfectly. Delivery was very prompt, I have no complaints & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this seller. A*

Bought new Mac from Amazon - 30 days later paying to get it fixed!
I bought this Apple MacBook Air on 23rd Feb. In late March I've had problems accessing my iCloud and took it to an Apple repair expert who says the Operating System on it is corrupt and I have to have it reinstalled. Paying nearly £1000 for a new ready to go Mac I don't expect this kind of problem straight away. Was just over 30 days so too late to return but not good enough. I suggest you only buy from Apple as I will in future
