This is an exceptional product and a great deal. Easy to set up and use. Will recommend this for anyone who wants to to set up a mini studio at home or for podcast settings.

The value of the deal was what drew me in, and as a product I am happy with it. The issue is that the microphone seems to not draw enough power to be able give it much volume. The phantom power does work, as when it's not on at all, it's inaudible.I've bought an audio interface and this will hopefully fix the issue where I don't have to use "boost microphone" in sound settings. I'm using this for stream so I need to be able to have a loud enough voice across all applications and right now unless I boost it isn't nearly loud enough for anyone to hear me.The scissor arm is good, easy to set up and sturdy enough to withstand gentle movement. It's not going to withstand anyone heavy handed, if you throw it around or pull/push it hard then it'll break. Use it with tact and it'l be your best friend.***Update 12/8/20:After testing a while with the audio interface (a small mixing desk) the microphone itself is perfect. The seller should just scrap the phantom power block as it is insufficient and reduce the price. I spent an additional £40 (brought the total for mic + audio interface close to that of a pro mic anyway) and was able to get sound that was crystal clear. I’ve increased the rating to 4.

This is a great quality product and bundle for any person who is looking to get a better microphone set up and leave themselves room for upgrading down the line. Works brilliantly with Discord and other services using the included 3.5mm jack in a standard microphone input after some tweaking with the settings. (for my set up, I increased the gain to +20dbs, allowing me to be heard clearly) very little background noise is picked up even with these settings.

The product was great. Lots included with the price, the mic sounded good and all easy to set up. The plastic casing on the plug did break though with meant wires were exposed and it felt dangerous to use.

Had to purchase a Persona valve pre amp as the output was extremely low... and the mic can have some background hiss when you ramp the gain up which brings the valve into play.... but as with all these things..... you pay for what you get for... Overall very pleased and it does you job i purchased it for

The stand, clamp, cables etc are all pretty good. But the mic has so much noise it's unreal!! Pure noise and i had to push the volume to the max just to hear myself in Adobe Audition and Reaper. I will probably end up just keeping this lot and swapping out the mic alone. Also the phantom power pack doesn't do anything worthwhile in terms of quality or anything and i found that the noise, although still awful (despite low noise being listed as one of the three main points on the box), it was slightly improved just being plugged straight into my computer motherboard and skipping the phantom pack and Everything else.

I bought this kit for streaming. As I didn't want to spend huge amounts when starting out, and most boom mount mics are a considerable investment. Since the purchase I have been truly surprised by the quality. The boom is reassuringly solid. The mic is clear in sound and looks of a higher quality than you would expect. I use the mic to stream to twitch via streamlabs, and the sound quality is perfect. The output can be slightly lower than others, but with tweaking through the software is perfectly usable. The pop shield works great too.I confidently recommend this kit.
