I bought this life vest for my 18 month old for our holiday for some extra peace of mind around swimming pools. The quality of the product is really excellent, and I will say more about this later in my review, but at the risk of being a little controversial, I’m not sure it was that essential for us. It may well be for other families.My daughter was the only child on our family holiday, so we never took our eyes off her. She also never went in the water alone. So to be honest, we rarely used it. It was an extra piece of gear in hot weather, which she didn’t need. Moreover, she goes to baby/toddler swimming lessons at home, where she doesn’t use a life vest, and so it was actually a bit of an adjustment for her. If I could do things over again, I probably would have saved my money.That being said, I can completely appreciate its value for an older child, or in other family circumstances. The aesthetic is really lovely, it’s a good fit, not too big, not too small and also isn’t super bulky. If my daughter were more independent, I think she’d be quite comfortable and happy swimming about in it.It’s a little bulky in the suitcase, but not awful. It also washes easily and well, which is an added bonus.Happy Nappy quality performs once again, and at a reasonable price.

This little vest is pretty slim so great for taking away on holiday and not taking up too much space in your case.I was a bit dubious about buying at first as usually use arm bands and this was a bit more expensive than a pair of those.But I’m so happy I got it. It fit my 3 year old perfect and he loved putting it on and as it was a novelty he made sure we put it on when we went in the pool.Didn’t find that it rubbed him anywhere which was a problem that my older son had with a different vest.The zip feels a good quality thick one.Was worried as read reviews that some vests make the child float forward putting their face under water. We never found that happening at all.The price is nothing when you see the little smiles you get when your little one has that little bit of extra freedom and fun of being able to jump in the pool and bob about.Obviously don’t just plop them in it and send them on their way. Still be with them :)A fantastic buy and recommended

Love how lightweight it is. Not bulky at all. The non-removable floats mean younger ones can't try and pull them out.Bought for 3yr olds 1st holiday abroad. Didn't bother him in the slightest - was happy to wear it & didn't rub/chafe. Really helped with confidence in the water.Not the cheapest out there, but worth the money for the quality. Was unsure of what size to purchase. Going by weight lo needed the 1-2yr size, but by chest measurement it would have been a dead fit with no room to grow.Bought the 2-3 yr size but was concerned it may be too heavy or ride up over his head. But I needn't have worried as although he has some growing room it's not too lose.

A great product that allowed us to feel at ease when little one was paddling in the pool on holiday. She’s so relaxed and confident and I’m sure this jacket helped. It’s a beautiful design of great quality

This swim vest fits incredibly well if you get the right weight range! It was snug on my boy with a little room, he absolutely loves it and gives him more freedom to swim than armbands!

Works as it should, lightweight enough for a smaller child (refer to sizing etc) and made to a good standard, no rips, tears etc. after many uses.

They are a great but they lift up way to high in the water and cannot be pushed down.

We have had 3 of these in different sizes and all my kids have loved them. The child needs to be big enough to kind of hold up their own weight because this propels them forward some but the freedom to move their arms and legs while swimming has been invaluable. This vest brings me the comfort I need as a parent to know my child is ok in the pool and has been great to help them while they are learning to swim. We have only used them in the pool so I don't know how they would do at a lake or ocean.

Awesome for smaller children! Our grandson is only 24 pounds but is two years old so the traditional life jackets are just too bulky. This fits him perfectly and allows him to use his arms to learn to paddle. He loves it and so do we!

Bought this over the summer for my 1 year old. He loves to swim and this is great for him because it’s not too puffy like other swimming vest. With this one he’s still able to do thing comfortably.
