PORTA PUZZLE Original – Jigsaw Puzzle Board with Fold-Out & Removable Trays

It was a choice between the original and the deluxe and i am glad i stuck with the orginal as its a larger size compared to the deluxe,it holds the puzzle in perfectly the pieces boards well they are ok they hold it together if the puzzle board is kept flat. overall i am very happy with what i got

I am delighted with this purchase. I have always been put off jigsaws because of the problem of where to do them - they take up a whole table. This is a revelation. On the central part you work on the jigsaw. (I do the 1000 piece ones). You have an extension either side giving you large spaces to separate out colours etc. When you finish you put the mats from the extension sides over the middle section, secure the whole jigsaw, and then it is slim, lightweight and portable. All the pieces stay on the felt backing. It is fantastic! I am now enjoying doing jigsaws again.

I stared at this online for ages comparing it to others and decided to purchase it as the reviews are good. It’s very big but perfect for a 1000 piece puzzle with the two additional boards for sorting pieces. The pieces stay in place when the board is flat and it folds away easily. Regarding portability, sadly it does not hold loose sections of puzzle in place even when I made sure to close the Velcro strips tightly. The outside pieces seemed to stay but the rest went all over the board, one large section had somehow ended up turned 180 degrees. Whilst I am disappointed, I think for the price it makes a useful puzzle storage system should you wish to dip in and out of a puzzle and don’t have space to leave it out. If I was to purchase again, I would probably opt for one that can be positioned on a slant to minimise neck ache! I will try this one raised at the top, perhaps using a book or block to lift it up.

Lovely puzzle board - good quality, though a little flexible when picked up and if placed on it's side the loose pieces can fall out, so probably best stored under the sofa! The Velcro closings are quite strong so far. A friend has one that cost more than twice the price I paid for this one and the quality is very near the same (I actually prefer this one!). Great way to be able to do jigsaws with limited surface space!

Great quality jigsaw board by PortaPuzzle. Bought for my son to do his puzzles on, he is currently only doing 200-300 piece ones, so this gives him plenty of room. Listing says good for up to 1000 pieces but we haven't used with anything larger yet. It is quite stable when moving about, as long as you are careful there should be no disasters. Is thin enough to slot under the bed on top of some storage boxes when not in use, or under the sofa when using but needs to be out of the way. The black cover does tend to attract the dust but it is easy to hoover off and now we just cover it with an old blanket for extended storage. Price point at time of purchase comparable to everywhere else. Very pleased. Recommended.

This 1000 piece puzzle board storage is perfect. I am glad I ignored the negative reviews. I have done two jigsaws on it now and had zero issues with the material and being able to move it around. I have left it stored both lying down but also vertical. No slipping of the part done puzzle. People saying that it doesn't fit a 1000 piece puzzle should maybe check the dimensions of the puzzle beforehand. There is a reasonable standard with regards the size, but you do get some weird ones which are either square or very wide. This board will fit 78cm wide by 53cm high. The one in my picture is 70 wide x 50 high. The trick to not having pieces fall out of position is to pull the cover tight when putting it away. I do not know just how much "throwing" it around can be done and not find your part done jigsaw in bits. I might try it with this one and feedback later ;-)

Excellent board. Large and robust with plenty of space for sorting pieces. Keeps everything secure ready for the next session!

Idéal, ne bouge pas et très pratique

Mi piace molto fare i puzzle ma vivendo con una gatta è sempre stato un problema trovare un posto dove riporlo per evitare che lei portasse in giro per casa (facendoli sparire) prima che li finissi. Un'altra scomodità era avere una base rigida e delle dimensioni adatte, e negli anni ho provato di tutto! Con questa custodia risolvo in un colpo ogni problema. Molto comoda, rigida il giusto, ha delle alette rimovibili che possono essere utilizzate per separare i tasselli durante la ricostruzione del puzzle e in un attimo, quando si interrompe, la si può richiudere e spostare senza temere che i tasselli si perdano o si muovano al suo interno. Davvero un acquisto eccezionale che consiglio a tutti gli amanti dei puzzle.

Très belle qualité et présentation originale : velcro , scratch, plateaux intérieurs amovibles pour le tri , matière soyeuse qui empêche les pièce de bouger. Vous avez fini pour aujourd'hui, hop on referme , on scratche les velcros latéraux et on prend son puzzle sous le bras pour le ranger. Attention néanmoins car c'est mon premier puzzle que je réalise sir mon portapuzzle Jumbo mais je me demande comment je vais faire pour le coller car les interstices entre les pi§ces est assez large et la colle va passer et souiller le revêtement, donc prévoir un film plastique sous le puzzle terminé avant coller!

Genial, ahora puedo quitar el rompecabeza de la mesa. ojo que sepuede resbalar si hay fichas sueltas.

Fijn zo'n puzzelmat. Werkt perfect.
