Smatree SmaPac DP3000 Backpack for DJI Phantom 4 Quadcopter Drones (Original Styrofoam Case, Batteries, Propellers are NOT Included)

Since the Phantom 4 is a rather old beast, there's very little when it comes to options for carrying your drone around. Most of the time you'll end up on second-hand sites trying to scalp for something or end up buying something of poor quality and dubious utility.This bag is admittedly expensive for what it is, however I have absolutely no complaints over its functionality or quality whatsoever.The build of the bag is good, with each of the zips having a smooth and snag-free operation. The styrofoam case fits nicely into the compartment, with easy access provided for the locking tabs via a flap at the front. ~The additional compartments are a godsend for storing additional accessories such as extra blades, SD cards, dongles and the like, allowing you to keep yourself well stocked of stuff.On top of that, the additional battery compartments (which incidentally can be removed and repurposed as a storage cavity if not needed) allow the bag to store an additional 4 packs, meaning in total you can carry up to 7 batteries with you at any time (with 2 in the case, 1 in the drone and 4 stored in the bag).Overall, if you've got a styrofoam case that's still in good nick, this bag is an unbeatable way of adding utility and convenience to it, and I'd definitely recommend you pick one up!

I was suspicious when all previous reviews were all five stars but after using it I have given it five stars myself, here's why:1: I cannot imagine a more appropriate box to carry a phantom 4 pro than the styrofoam case that DJI send it in so a sack where this case simply slots into but with the added convenience of rucsac straps and an extra layer of tough nylon fits the bill nicely.2: To open you simply unzip round the sack then open a velcro flap which provides access to the lock of the DJI case, unlock the catch and simply open the lid which stays inside the lid of the sack providing easy access to the phantom. You therefore do not even need to remove the styrofoam case from the sack.3:There is extra padded space in the top of the sack for extra batteries or the padding could be removed to give space for anything else you might want.4:There is also a pocket on the back of the sack for a tablet or similar sized object and also a mesh pocket on each side, each of which will hold at least one drinks can and probably two at a squeeze.5: It is comfortable to carry and discreet as it has no logos or wording on it and although it looks a bit boxy very few people would know you were carrying a drone.6: The price of around £60 compares very well with other far more expensive cases which I cannot imagine do a much better job than this does.

Very smart design, nylon and padded back seem of better quality than cheap styrofoam backpacks.The extra compartment for 4 batteries allows to free up space in the case to house all cables, chargers, filters etc.The extra tablet pocket is large enough to house a lot more than an iPad and side pockets allow for more stuff tobe placed in there.Price feels right for it's value, if you want a cheap yet decent alternative to much pricier backpacks go for it! although comfortable, probably not really suitable for long treks but surely more than enough for a short or even medium one!

As a pack for carrying a Phantom 4 Pro it's great value, the design offers just what you need to carry everything in one case. My iPad sunshade and foldable landing pad will fit inside the main compartment lying on top of the styrofoam case and the top can still be easily zipped closed. My spare batteries go inside the styrofoam case into the compartments DJI provide for them, that leaves the top pockets of this case free for extra items like a compact camera or other goodies. I would have liked to see more padding on the outer face of the iPad pocket as the thin material offers little protection against impacts here (a very vulnerable place). It would have been better to have the iPad pocket situated between the top pocket and the main compartment for the foam box. Anyway, for myself I just put a layer of bubble-wrap inside and have the glass screen facing in towards the styrofoam box. That little flap that covers the locking mechanism for the box though - I mean, why? It serves no useful purpose whatsoever. I can see no advantage to being able to release the case lock whilst the cover is zipped shut.. Anyway, this is a simple carrying pack - it's not a super strong design for expeditions. It may survive a camping holiday or two if you're careful with it and don't abuse the zips, but for expeditions you'll want something more expensive that offers stronger construction. Maybe the Manfrotto pack would be better. For me it's perfect, chuck it in the back of the car to transport it and then carry everything as a single backpack to the flying location.

This is an excellent bag to hold the phantom 4 in its original case.I find it fits the drone case in main compartment, on top of that I fit my iPad Pro. On the outside flap there's another pocket which fits my polar pro filters.The top compartment fits 3 battery's and my neck strap and iPad cable.Side compartments for props and a drinkIt's a really well made bag, would definitely recommend.So much easier than carrying the case and then iPad and filters separately.Sellers communication 10/10

I do a lot of hiking and this bag is brilliant. It doesn’t offer additional protection but the foam box fits snug in there and the bad is comfortable and light. It’s an absolute essential for the phantom 4. Once you put the box in you’ll never need to take it out.

Excellent bit of kit. The carrying case for the Phantom fits perfectly in the pack. The slot above for four batteries is a great idea. All in all, this makes the Phantom 4 far more portable.

Great value. Well put together. Holds the drone box securely. Good straps, padding, and extra storage options. Preferred to keep the phantom in the Styrofoam box it came in, so opted against pricier alternatives that didn't offer this. Recommended.
