DDPai mini WiFi Full HD 1080P Dash Cam, 140 Degree Wide Angle, Night-vision, Loop Recording, Built-in Supercapacitor, Snapshot Button, Parking Monitor, Storage Up To 128GB, iOS, Android APP;

One week into owning this dash-cam and I am very impressed with it. It has a very simple, but sturdy design which is non-obtrusive, comes with all the cables that you need to set it up and the accompanying software (on your phones' app store) works suprisingly well.I spent a long time hunting around on Amazon for a good dash cam and finally settled on this one as:- It was a good price- The mount does not rely on a suction cup and is short (meaning that there is very little room for flex) so the camera is solidly mounted to the car, minimising shaking- There is no screen to distract you (many dash cams have a screen that you have to turn off manually every time)- Good quality image sensor (from Sony)- The bigger brother to this unit (the DDPai M6+) is very highly rated ([...])Installation:I was worried that I might have to hard-wire this camera to my car, however I thought I would give it a go first. The camera comes with a very long USB cable that is just long enough in my car (2016 Ford Focus) to reach the power socket under the arm rest. I routed the cable around the top of the windscreen (using the supplied sticky clips - which are great) and then I tucked the cable down through the door pillar trim and around the bottom of the glove box. The camera also comes with a very convenient 12 volt socket to 2-way USB adaptor which I leave plugged in at all times.As my car turns off this socket approximately 20 minutes after the car has been turned off, it gives me some form of parking protection as well.Usage:To get videos off the camera, you simply have to be in range. Once you've installed the application on your smart phone (Android for me), you can connect to the camera using WiFi in the app and then you can rewind through the recent footage until you get what you want. Very easy to use and much simpler than taking the SD-card out, or rewinding on a tiny screen on the device.I was also pleasantly surprised by the solid build quality of this unit which gives me hope that it should be working in years to come - unlike many of its competitors.

Good points are its fairly cheap and small and the daytime picture quality is good. Bad points are. Non removeable. I attached mine close in to the side of the screen to keep it neat. Bad idea as you then cant get the sd card out so you need at least a few inches clearance.darker scenes are very bad and you struggle to see whats been recorded.I took it off the screen to remove the sd card and found that the card was corrupt and it would only play a few of the files which has never happened to me on a dash cam before.It also seems to suffer from glare if its in bright light which some others have mentioned.It was worth a try but going back!!

Avoid unless you like only being able to record 10 seconds of video and that's if you press a button.packaging was 5 stars, looks really smart then it starts to unravel... try it in house first, power up, download app, connect to camera wifi, live pcture preview in app (Good picture). check memory... nothing there... press button.... get 10 second clip.... go into settings, change to record video, go back to memoy, it's filling up but cant access it, check after a minute, still filling up, still cant see it or access it, press button, get 10 second video.... SD card now 7% used, still cant see video or access it. Restart camera, wait a bit, SD card now 9% used, still no way to access it.It wants a firmware update, ok, download to phone, download to camera, update firmware... failed. (Do this 5 times, fails every time).Eventually decide that 2 hours faffing around with this on Christmas day is too much, send back for refund... buy a proper make (Blackvue).Steer well clear.... anything that says in the user manual that the camera lens can be rotated to look inside car to capture joy moment is a toy.

Neat little headless camera which is easy to locate discreetly but the night time image quality is very poor (hard to see anything). The button for taking pictures responds intermittently (not that bothered as didn't buy for this feature). Software app on IOS is very confusing and hard to find the footage for downloading though once found it does work. Getting occasional stuttering of video footage as well. Great in daylight

I bought two of these going on about a year ago now (DDPai 1080p version) and I have them installed to the front/rear of my car, they have worked flawlessly with no issues whatsoever.The microphone is nothing special but that was of no concern to me as I have no need to use this feature. However where it really matters, the picture quality is excellent and furthermore, the cameras are quite small and the bullet shape makes them discreet when fitted as you can fit them higher up the windscreen in comparison to other designs.The software works quite well and allows full control of the camera sertings, I have the app installed on my android phone and on my android head unit in my car. There has been a few updates to the cameras and the app since I've had them so it's good they continue to improve.I have since bought another for my parents car and they are pleased with theirs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camera!

Very good and like the format, easy to understand and use. App for phone downloads easy - Wifi range very good even through an outside wall allowing you to view from inside house if connected to a permanent feed.Only criticism is the misleading information regarding storage up to 128GB. this is not correct, bought a 128GB memory card in conjunction with this item wanting to maximise it's potential,, only to discover maximum size that is recommended and in fact will work is 32GB.Am now a proud owner of a large capacity memory card that I have no use for and have to order a 32GB one. Additional cost I could of done without. Would like a response from the supplier about this one and ask them to amend their advert so no one else makes the same mistake.

Premettento che non ne ho provate altre..La mia impressiome dopo 1 mese di utilizzo e ottima.. all'inzio ero indeciso se prendere questa o un modello con schermo. ma ora so di aver fatto la scelta giusta una distrazione in meno e il design e piu compatto.(nella giusta posizione da fuori quasi non si vede ).intanto i filmati si possono tranquillamente rivedere sull'app che funziona bene.PRO dimesioni giuste La possibilita di ruotarla per. riprendere dentro l'abitacolo. Audio e video buoni. Utile il tasto (posizionabile a piacere) per scattare foto o ritagliare porzioni. di video fino a 10 secondi prima CONTRO: Il supporto dove si va a mettere. l'adesivo 3m e un pezzo unico con la. cam sarebbe stato meglio qualcosa. stile go pro per intenderci da poter. scollegare I piccoli gancetti adesivi per sorreggere il filo. finché sul vetro ok 👌 ma sulla. plastica ruvita non tengono e un paio. In piu non guasterebbero.Nel complesso ottima la ricomprereiSe succede qualcosa aggiornerò....

Ich habe die Kamera jetzt seit ungefähr 8 Wochen in Betrieb und bin sehr positiv überrascht. Die Aufnahmen sind scharf und auch bei Dunkelheit gut zu erkennen. In gefährlichen Situationen ein sehr gutes Hilfsmittel, auch wenn die Nutzung noch rechtliche Grauzone ist.Einziges Manko (was ich hier aber nicht negativ bezeichnen möchte) ist die Bedienungsanleitung...diese wird ausschließlich in Chinesisch geliefert. Auch die Updates der App und die App selbst sind nur auf chinesisch.Insgesamt aber top Produkt!
