Legends Of Cricket [DVD]

Bought for an avid cricket fan who watches many documentaries and reads many books. He has watched a couple of the DVD's and said they are excellent so far. I also bought the boxing set, and he is as pleased as punch! (Pun intended.)

This is over 7 hours of cricket highlights, more than enough to isolate yourself. The packages are 'The legends of India', containing archived cricket and interviews with Tendulkar and Gavaskar. Similarly, 'Pakistan' features Wasam Akram. The interviews are interesting. 'Australia' is always the highlight worth the price for McGrath and Bradman. The England section brings us into Flintoff, Gower and the ever present Botham. The legends of W,G Grace, Len Hutton, Walter Hammond and Len Hutton are included.For a cricket enthusiast who maybe prefers the older games' ethics, this is a bargain. A wonderful acquisition at a bargain price. My wife bought it for me, presumably for peace. My only gripe is the absence of the West Indies' dominance of the late 70's and 80's that are not here. Available elsewhere, however, and probably should be X-rated.

It is just as described and came quickly. Unfortunately, my son has yet to open it!
