Q: What sizes are there in the kit, please

3,4,6,8,10 &12mm with two sets of different thread pitch plus a couple of plug taps17 taps 3,4,5,6,7,8,10,12 plus 1/8 npt A decent set

Q: Are they fine thread or course ?

Amazing how many people answered this question without understanding it. There are coarse and fine threads for each size (M3x0.5 and M3x0.6 etc.).

Q: Is the set Carbon steel or HSS?

No mention of material on taps, dies, guarantee or box. I've used them for internal and external threads on brass, mild steel and stainless steel with good results; a good cutting compound is essential and I use an old toothbrush to clear swarf from the new thread.
