Tree of Life Organic Pumpkin Seeds, 1Kg

Pumpkin seeds are a rich source of Magnesium and so good for heart health. I eat this as past of my regular diet. I keep them handy and have about 2-3 small handfuls a day supplemented with raisins, a nice combination flavour wise. As it happens dates are also a rich source of magnesium, but you probably know all this. As a 72 year old, I add a few supplements like theses seeds to my diet as they are not processed in any way that I know of and our bodies can take care of them. They have a long shelf life too, but I tend to eat about a kilo or so each month. Even the ones that are NOT organic are still very good.

I could not tell if the seeds tasted the way they should have - they were dry and bitter, As the contents had spilled in the box I threw them away as they didn't taste good to me.I quote Thomas Phoenix's review as my review was not allowed - complaining about inadequate quality of packaging. If his wording is allowed surely mine is too."The only reason I am removing two stars is because the packaging should be more solid, the first time I received these the plastic bags had opened in the package and there were seeds all over the carton."

As a consequence of incessantly watching Cinderella on DVD my daughter seems to have developed something of an obsession with meeting a prince at a ball. In an attempt to mollify her I bought these seeds and told her that if she planted some and tended them carefully, a wondrous pumpkin carriage would spring forth. When the resplendent vehicle failed to rise she chided me and fed the remaining seeds to Doug, my hyacinth macaw, who seemed to like them well enough although it did make his guano paler than usual.

I love those pumpkin seeds. Very tasty and make me feel good. Those are also loaded with valuable Omega3 fatty acids, tryptophan and other valuable nutrients. The only reason I am removing one star is because the packaging should be more solid, the first time I received those two of the plastic bags had opened in the package and there were seeds all over the carton. Those were refunded to me immediately though.

I've ordered these before and enjoyed them. However, it was very disappointing to receive my order today and find pumpkin seeds all over the inside of the box. The plastic bag had a medium size hole in it and the seeds were spilling out everywhere.

I received my order of pumkin seeds a couple of days ago, sealed in the familiar Amazon wrapper. Before I'd even opened the outer layer, the seeds fell out over the counter. Sadly the bag was ripped and I lost about 1/4 of the order but on the upside, the birds gained from it..

Easy to get into a healthy diet with these. It taste so good and has that nutty smell to it. The packet is pretty big for me, meaning it last some good amount of time.
