My colleagues have commented on what a neat piece of equipment this is and I agree, it folds away easily to slide down the side of my monitor and although lightweight, it has no trouble supporting a heavy lever-arch file or large number of individual sheets. It can be adjusted to a number of angles, as required. Since starting to use it, I no longer experience neck pain whilst working and am really impressed to have such an excellent aid for an affordable price. Highly recommend.

Well, it didn't look much when it arrived, but it's actually very good. I have a number of computer books which are 600+ pages long, and this holds them perfectly and is nice and sturdy. You can adjust the angle too, and the design does not damage the book. An excellent purchase.

This item is absolutely great. Plastic build, feels somewhat robust but also a bit flimsy in parts. Holds an A3 ring binder folder no problem. Good support, balances well and never had anything fall off it, it's never collapsed on me, it's just there and works and I don't even need to think about it. Highest setting is quite low, not very upright more of a slant. Great overall product. Does the job well, easy to store, good all rounder. The little prongs that hold the book pages open are a bit weak so not very effective at start or end of a book. But still very useful and you can fold them away if you don't want to use them. I am really happy with this product! 6/10.

I was cynical given the weighty, 1000+ page thickness of my K.A Stroud textbook, that this would be any good, but it held up to the job well. The 42mm depth of the stand didn't fully fit the 1000 pages when open in the first several chapters, but fortunately this turns out not to be a problem since the page tabs still do the job well of keeping the book open. So, it works! Small rubber tabs on the back prop keep this from moving around on the desk too much and the whole thing is pretty sturdy. The book holder folds completely flat when not in use which means it can be easily hidden away on my bookshelf. My only reservation with this will be longterm use since it's made completely out of plastic. Once one of the tabs go, this will be pretty useless. But until then, this serves it's purpose.

I love this product! It makes note taking a lot easier as everything is eye level! Every student should get this it just makes life a lot easier and even if your book is a bit difficult to keep open, it has things that flick out to stop the page turning. Best of all you can pack it flat, so you can easily move location if your current location is boring you! Not to forget that in comparison to most other book stands this one is considerably cheaper, and does the job perfectly! Save your money, don't by a fancy one, get this one! you can't even see the stand anyway!

Cheap and very lightweight product, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work for hardcover books (the system isn’t strong enough to stop the book from closing). Works well for soft-cover books though.

I've been using this nearly daily as a laptop stand for two years. This bests many 'proper' laptop stands in a number of ways: It raises the screen higher (taking less desk space), it packs flat, it's lighter, and it's cheaper (I paid £5). It looks flimsy but it's stable and rated for books up to 10kg, which is much more than even the heaviest laptop. I've proven its longevity and mine supports my laptop and a USB screen every day. You could even buy a few and leave one wherever you might need it.

Bought this to use in my art work. Useful to prop up and see easily a master sheet or picture as you work - easier than laying it flat. Would be good also for propping up a book e.g. a recipe book, or documents when typing. Is sufficiently sturdy and well designed to support a reasonably heavy weight. I think, however, that it possibly needs a little care when setting up by pushing the lug which slots into the holes at the back. Folds up to make a compact shape for carrying inside a folder or carrier. I liked it so much that I bought one for an artist friend and she too is happy with it. Would recommend this copy holder.

The stand is great as a desktop music book stand. I place on my coffee table to hold my music during guitar playing. Adjustable viewing angle. Folds flat for storage and travel.

Edito para darle 5 estrellas: Después de más de 2 años, y muchos exámenes aprobados (y mis cervicales en perfecto estado), puedo decir que quien quiera un atril práctico, aquí lo tiene, que no mire otro. Este atril ha aguantado libracos con los que te puedes hacer una tienda de campaña si los abres, y sigue como el primer día. No ocupa espacio en la mochila o maleta, y al no tener chorradas apenas puede romperse si lo tratas bien. Creedme si os digo que lo he usado miles de horas. Para cualquier mesa es perfecto. Es de plástico, se ve endeble al principio pero la verdad que lo tengo desde hace un año, usándolo bastante a menudo, y ahí sigue como el primer día. Le pongo la 4 estrellas por ser de plástico y si me ha durado ha sido porque también lo he cuidado mucho, si lo fuerzas un poco se rompe seguro. Se puede plegar completamente y llevarlo en casi cualquier carpeta.

First thing you notice about this is the thin plastic material used for fabrication. This will not ever take the weight of a heavy book or a lot of pages. I need this primarily for holding spiral notebooks and loose sheets so I can type data intensive projects in faster. And for that purpose it will hold. The clips in the front (to keep the book open) are also not very sturdy. Just by prying them open I can tell they will not take much pressure. The finish is also not up to the mark. There is a lot of misshapen artifacts and leftovers from the molding process. The back support and stand easily pop out with uneven pressure. But once you have set it to your liking there should not be any need to adjust it repeatedly. For the amount charged you'd think the manufacturers could have easily used a much stronger material with better finish. Expensive novelty item.

I read a lot and I was always annoying of having to hold the book open to a certain page. I also hated having to try to type something from a book while having to hold the book open to a certain page. Well, I finally decide to try this nice little invention, and let me tell you, it's definitely worth it! It's cheap, but the plastic works fine and does the job well. It stands up and holds the book to a certain page just as promised. The stand is adjustable. It's great, it makes my life so much easier, and I'm sure glad I bought it!
