TS Guitar String Cleaner, SW101

Purchased this lighter colour for a second guitar with different strings that are coated. So far working well to give them a quick clean after use.

Yeah its ok. Good for getting under your strings etc. But people claiming your strings come up gleaming after using it... not so sure about that. It removes some, but not all dirt and debris. And to be clear I clean my strings after just about every use. So it certainly doesn't stop the build up or entirely clean it. What i did find useful and unexpected is the cloth that comes with the card. Perfect for polishing the body of your guitar/violin etc with whatever instrument polish you use. You will get some castaway fibres the first couple of times you use it but they don't stick. Overall. Yeah. I likes. But is it as miraculous as other reviews make out? No. All that said I'd probably buy another one once this one is done simply because i like that you can get under the strings without leaving bits of microfiber clothe clinging to your frets and like I said, the polishing cloth that comes with it is very good quality

It's OK at giving the strings and guitar a quick wipe down but probably wasted my money as I only use the cloth that came with it to wipe everything down. The swipe is pretty pointless if you ask me as you can easily clean underneath the strings with the cloth if you use it right. But it's just a soft cloth which I already own lots of so didn't really need this as its nothing special!

Very useful item and well worth getting one

ive no idea if this is impregnated with oils detergents or solvents but it works and it works very well youll be amazed at how your strings gleam

I'm not a huge sweat person with strings, but still this handy item lets you clean easily behind the strings and frets, which helps no question with longevity on both. You can also wash it if needed. You could make up something yourself with a plastic card and lens cloth perhaps, but this is useful to have in the bag.

Fantastic product which I would recommend guitarists get. I always clean my strings after playing and since using this it has prolonged the life of my strings. I still have to replace them often but that is down to my playing. This does a good job of gathering the dirt from underneath the strings.

Bit expensive for what it is but I guess you’re paying for the design You can quite easily clean the strings by passing a small cloth between the fretboard and strings but this is far easier
