Lovely wee clock,a great buy.
This is a lovely wee clock. It's wooden, well made and has an attractive, simple design. The face is clear, with large numbers which are easy to read, as well as visually pleasing. The night light button is large and easy to find, placed as it is right on top of the clock, with no other controls nearby to get muddled with in the dead of night. It is silent,so there's no tick-tock to keep you awake. It's also not expensive. An excellent buy.

Up the wooden hill to the wooden bed and the wooden clock...
I do like the wooden eco look of this totally silent alarm clock. It is promised that the tactile, 'blended' wood will age gracefully, a soft, darker patina will develop handsomely. When it arrives, make sure that the AA battery, which you will have to provide, is properly inserted into the back, push it right in, otherwise the second hand may turn but not the hours and minutes, it does go quite far back. Also when replacing the battery cover it is the smooth side that faces outwards. The actual workings of the clock are encased in white plastic; on putting the battery in you notice that the cover is a little thin but that doesn't matter because the black and white, traditional face is fine, nice and clear to read, and a second hand goes around. The nightlight function works with a press of the finger for on and then goes off. That top button is also effects a small snooze function. Intriguingly this is quite well thought out - on first pressing the snooze button it keeps quiet for five minutes, then become more noisy with each five minutes more you buy yourself in bed!A gentle alarm that should disturb you enough if it is by your head. It will sit discreetly and attractively in most rooms. Sorry to hear of other reviewers having faulty versions, quality control is perhaps not diligent enough. The hand turned case is very much to my taste anyway.

and I loved the natural wood that this one is made from
This is exactly what I was looking for - I wanted an analogue clock, and I loved the natural wood that this one is made from. It is a beautiful object, has a silent tick, keeps time accurately, and has a gently ascending alarm. There are two reasons why it doesn’t get the full 5 stars and they are that it is difficult to get an exact alarm time unless on the hour, as it is tricky to line up the alarm arm to the clock dial. And also because the alarm stopped working after about 8 months, however I contacted ECvision and they immediately sent me out a replacement. Their customer service is extremely prompt and friendly. Highly recommended all round.

Fabulous little clock
This is a wonderful little clock and looks fabulous on my bedroom bookcase. is very understated but beautiful with it's sleek curves and smooth lines.I did not buy this as an alarm clock so can't say how well works or how loud it is in that function. The light is really soft but brght enough to see the time when you hit the alarm button on the top without being too bright to give you a shock or hurt your eyes first thing in the morning. This would look lovely on a bedside table, and I'm sure would fit in with many different decors, is stylish and unobtrusive. It is very, very quiet so would not be annoying whilst ticking away to itself! whilst close to your bed.I am very pleased with this lovely little clock.

its was a lovely little clock - perfect for my needs
I would have given this little clock 5 starts a week ago ... its was a lovely little clock - perfect for my needs. Silent - a good light to see the time in the dark and lovely to look at. The only problem is that after only 2 months it has stopped working !! It is not the battery - the hands seem to have loosened and they do not stay in place anymore. Its impossible to set the correct time and the clock can't work because the hands are loose. Not really expensive but I would have expected it to last longer than a few months !!

Classy & Classic fabulouse alarm clock.
This is my second purchase of this clock and I love them. I have had the first one over a year and it still has the same battery in it. It's has a silent tick. A handy little light if you want a quick look at the time in the dark. the second I bought to use in my caravan as a ticking clock keeps me awake so this is wonderful. the alarm is perfect, starts off nice and gentle then goes into higher tones the longer you leave it. The wooden finish is really nice and looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. Defo Recommend this classic beauty.

Not a nightlight
I purchased this clock as a Christmas present based on the fact it had a nightlight, as it turns out that is not actually the case.A nightlight, by definition, is a dim light that is meant to stay on all night. This clock does have a light but it only comes on if you press the button, there is not an option to use it as a nightlight.Their actual user manual states "Environmental Nightlight: Press the button on the top, and it will be on, the off when your finger moves away"!That by no means is a nightlight, it is a clock with a light that goes on when you press the button!Unfortunately, I did not find this out until after I had given in for a present or I would have written sooner. The clock itself is very attractive and pretty much silent, so in that respect I have no issues

A nice clock but affected by sourcing it elsewhere this time?
This is my second one of these clocks. I loved the first one (a few months ago) although it took some weeks to to arrive. This one arrived within a day or two, which seemed great. I wanted to have one for the other side of the bed, But I suspect it came more quickly because it's being made by a different supplier and the original was better. When you compare them side by side you can see that the number sizes on the clock face are slightly different and the wooden finish of the second clock is slightly cheaper looking. Of course wood varies, as the notes point out. But this seems discernibly different in quality, not just in grain. None of this would matter too much - it's a pretty clock. But the major problem with the second one is the battery cover at the back. No matter how carefully and gently I tried to manoeuvre it back after inserting a battery, it would NOT go back into place. It's flimsy and I suspect it's just not made quite well enough. So I've had to resort to sellotaping it on. OK for my personal use but not fit to give to someone else.
