Perfect!
I wanted to replace my radio alarm clock because I was sick of listening to really bad music quality when I was waking up (very tinny)This mini hifi fits in my room and looks awesome too! The only downside to it is there's no actual clock so I had to buy a little clock for my room. However, that's just a little thing that I've managed to get around. The hifi comes on in the morning at a set time, plays the radio station I have chosen (I think you can have up to 45 stations saved) I only listen to 2 different ones anyway. I love how I can play my music from amazon Prime from my phone via Bluetooth. This is really handy if I don't have the cds to hand. The sound quality is awesome. It's a massive change from my old radio alarm clock. I'm so happy with this and I would recommend this product to anyone!

Quality music system
This is a good quality music system and looks very stylish. It’s easy to set up and use and overall I am pleased with the purchase. However, the remote control is a little small and fiddly to use but works well and the sound volume when using a connected Bluetooth device seems low when compared to listening to a CD or radio.

An amazing piece of eqjuipment.
This is an amazing piece of equipment. I have listened to all sorts of music all my life - mainly classical - and have a fairly upmarket hi fi set in my living room. I wanted a secondary set for my study, and bought this. I was astounded at the quality of the sound - both CD and radio though I have listened mostly to CDs. It is easy to set up and looks good. The remote control is small with small buttons but I can manage it well (I am pretty elderly). I can't imagine anyone not being absolutely delighted with this.

Physical set-up is simple and easy. However
I bought this to replace an early 2000s system that didn't have DAB or Bluetooth, which lived on my desk.Physical set-up is simple and easy. However, I'd agree with previous reviewers that tuning radio stations is a bit fiddly. Not something you'd do on the fly - rather, it's a small project that you need to think about. Which stations do you want to preset, which order of numbers do you want to assign them, and how do you do it?Sound quality - despite the very modest size of the speakers - is fine. Appreciably better than from my old speakers. The thing that's pleased me most is using Bluetooth in conjunction with iTunes. I have about 9,000 tracks, and the speakers on an iMac aren't exactly hi-fi. Being able at last conveniently to play my tracks - and also listen to internet radio - using decent speakers is great.

Lovely, but won't link with my iPod
This is a really smart, good quality little hifi system. I was worried that the white would look tacky and cheap, but actually it's beautiful, and it plays my CDs well. The only thing is I can't get it link in with my iPod, which isn't the end of the world for me,but if you intend to play from an iPod it may well not work.

Nice and tidy looking hi-fi
Bought this hi-fi after my 20 year old technics finally packed in. With big boots to fill I was certainly not disappointed with this beautifully designed, slick, modern little number. Although small, it definitely packs a punch in terms of volume and sound quality.Bluetooth works great and the dab radio is an added bonus. USB won't recognise all devices but that's not really an issue for me. Only slight criticism is that it's quite slow when selecting and moving between functions, and you actually have to select CD then hit play to play your CD, whereas I would have liked for it to automatically select CD option when you press play. Remote is also very small, but these are very minor issues and overall you can't complain about this Hi-fi for the price you pay.

Lousy aerial makes radio almost unusable
This would be quite a good little unit if it were not for the lousy aerial supplied. it's just a length of wire which attaches to the central pin of the coax plug on the back of the unit. Our local signal is quite strong but the radio reception on both DAB and FM was unusable. I replaced this with a 300ohm dipole ribbon aerial that I happened to have in the attic. Even coiled across the kitchen worktop (as in photo) it produced an adequate signal. It's now pinned to the inside of a large kitchen cupboard out of sight. To a manufacturer that would cost pennies to supply and would obviate many of the critical reviews.I bought this for our kitchen but the speaker leads were too short (1.5m) to place the speakers on the top of the cabinets. Once again, some low-loss speaker wire I happened to have in stock solved that little problem. The speakers are still less than 3m apart but they're at ceiling height.Otherwise the unit is good value. Bluetooth has proved easy to set up with a MacBook Air and an iPhone. It's let down a bit by cheap speakers but that's what I would expect at this price. Indeed, I've tried it with a pair of Mordaunt Short speakers and the sound is 100% better, but they cost almost as much as the whole system. If you are considering buying this I would recommend buying with it a cheap ribbon antenna with a coax socket attached.UPDATE: I've since discovered that Amazon sells a number of coax to 300 ohm connectors. You need to check that you also have the right coat connector for the back of the unit.

Very pleased
Bought this as I needed a DAB+ CD player with Bluetooth. This ticked the boxes and came in a lovely colour that fits in with my decor. Most systems are black! I was very pleased with the all important sound although only 15 watts it suits my lounge. Slight niggles - you have to press display each time you switch on to find out who/what is playing on the radio. Also a black electric cable, why not white to match the unit and blend in more?
