The charger has a very high quality build. It looks and feels premium and solid in the hand. I had been charging my Asus Zenfone 2 Phone with a regular charger and it would take ages to finish charging. At times, when I used my phone during charge, it would start to discharge while pluged in, may be because of higher power consumption than the charging power. I had also bought Anker 2nd Gen Astro E4 13000mAh portable battery for my phones (Motorola Moto G first Gen and Asus Zenfone 2). Though the battery works perfectly and supports fast charge and charges both the phones simultaneously like a charm, my regular charger would take hours and hours to recharge the Anker Battery. Now with the Anker 24W 2-Port charger, I can recharge my battery very quickly. I love the charger, as it supports two USB ports for fast charge and does not heat up at all. In short I highly recommend this charger where you need a phone that support fast charge or a backup portable battery.

Seems to charge my Samsung galaxy A22, but no fast charging doesn't seem compatible with this model.. just something to be aware of..

I've bought a few of these and they have been reliable and run cool. Would recommend.

well made product . charging phones quickly

The higher current capability of this Anker charger means it has a charge rate appreciably quicker than the standard Apple wall plug. Whereas the Apple plug is limited to a current of 1 amp, this Anker charger takes advantage of the capability of the iPhone 6/6Plus to draw upto 2.1 amps. I ran a comparison test on my iPhone 6Plus, with all apps closed and the phone set in flight mode in order to minimise the power drain of the device. From 1% to 75% battery capacity my Anker unit charged in better than 2/3 of the time of the Apple wall plug, in fact 0.63 of the time by my reckoning. After 75% battery capacity my Anker unit slowed its charge rate as it gradually moved to a trickle charge; but the rate was steady upto 75%, taking just 68 minutes from flat as opposed to the 108 minutes of the Apple wall plug; a significant difference. Full charge was then achieved by my Anker unit in 160 minutes due to the much slower rate at the top end. But for that key early boost to battery life, this Anker fast charger really is worth the money.

I always highly recommend Anker products to all of my friends and family, and this product is no different. It arrived in very sturdy, quite luxurious packaging. The product itself looks very stylish and is very on brand with the rest of the Anker range.I'd actually bought a cheaper unbranded double port charger elsewhere before buying this one, but it made a really strange buzzing noise and I was constantly on edge that it was going to blow up in the middle of the night. I can sleep easy now! At just £10, it's not going to break the bank either.I have actually noticed a substantial difference in the time it takes my iPhone 6 to charge (also using an Anker branded charger cable). I'd probably say it charges about 40-50% faster. I can't fault it, similar to every other Anker product I've bought in the past.I did pay full price for this item. I just really love Anker products, and you should too.
