Yeah, it’s good.
Wow. I have a skinny modern Siamese and a new rescue American Burmese. Siamese eat little and regulate their food. Burmese are a dustbin. My Burmese is getting fat. When I had only the Siamese, she had a dispenser so she had unlimited dry food. But of course her new cat sister thought it was Xmas. So something had to done, and this product seemed to be the answer. At 2 for £180 I took the plunge. The instructions supplied are pants. There is a download though. To save you some time, it’s easy. Put in the 4 batteries not supplied (😵) and it’s ready to go. Press the open button and fill up the bowl. Worth noting, there is a full bowl and a divider one included for two types of food. Place the rubber mat down. Underneath there is a switch. 1, 2 & 3. This is the speed the door closes when the cat is gone. It’s in about 10 second increments. Then press the + button and hold it down. The door opens. Place the tag supplied at the food bowl and it’s paired. The door closes. There is a training mode which opens the door in increments. The only thing explained in the supplied instructions. I didn’t use it. Both are orientals and figured it out fast. The movement is very quiet and both units work with only the paired tag. Apparently it works with the chip in the cat (if they are chipped) but I like the tag option. I presume pairing is the same but you have to grab the cat and get it to the bowl. For some that may not be easy 🤣 and in my opinion may stress them to the object. Anyway, it’s great. Not cheap but enables me to reduce my Burmese’s waistline and stop her stealing her sisters food. I like the accessories. You can get different coloured bowls and mats. Even a guard to stop clever cats getting under the door. We will see. It seals the bowls pretty well too. Stops flies and drying out. All in all, it’s great. If you need this, you are already sold.

Really good solution
This is working really well. My two kittens kept eating senior cats food making senior cat very grumpy. He has found this really easy to use, no training necessary just took to it straight away. Easy set up, took less than a minute. Kittens aren’t able to get into it at all. Even if a kitten goes near him at the time he’s eating it closes. Really happy with it. Only downside is it takes batteries rather than being rechargeable.

Micro Chip Cat Feeder 😎👍
This feeder is the best of the best as far as I’m concerned n I can’t believe I haven’t already got one I could of done with one of these years ago, this is gonna stop my dogs pinching the cat food plus if your cat is on medication you just put it n his/her bowl and as long as you have set it up right then only the cat that is on meds can open it n if another cat comes along it just shuts down!! How cool is that!! I’ve just ordered a second one as it’s so great I need 6 n total but have too wait abit before I can order the 4th one!! It maybe abit pricey but believe me it’s worth every penny! 😎👍 Up-date: These feeders are great and simple too set up!! You simply press the button on the back with a cat picture on it then the flap will open!! Just put some food or treats to tempted the cat in n once he’s gone n and picked up the treat up is all done the flap will close and the cat will be programmed too that feeder!! It’s has a intruder function so if another cat comes along too eat while the other cat is eating it shuts down until the intruder has gone!! However this is not in the Instructions so I’ve Up-loaded a photo of how too set it on intruder mode!! It just stops all the hassle of cats pinching other cats food. I need another 3 as I’m getting my dogs one!! This is not realy recommend for dogs but I have the smallest dog n the word the Chihuahua and it also works great with them!! 😎👍 I’ve found over time if you have more then 1 cat even with the Intruder mode on the cats can avoid this by going around the back of the feeder, I’ve looked around too see if there’s a case that would clip on the back too stop this I’ve got 5 feeders and it’s stopped the hassle at there feeding time but now it’s created another problem for me I gotta keep an eye open so I can stop them from going around the back n pulling them out!! It’s just a minor problem I still think & still recommend these feeders!! 😎👍

Not perfect, but I'd recommend it
Works as intended so far. I am very happy with the purchase, not sure if I should have deducted a star for the drawbacks this device has, but you can just read and form your own opinion. Our cats are very scared rescues that get jumpy at the slightest movement and have never stopped hating moving toys or the vacuum robot. The "training mode" initially seemed to work, but that learning didn't stick and we eventually had to manually open the feeder at feeding time and give them a few days to get used to just eating out of it, with no extra movement. Then they both figured it out though, and while they are now (less than a week later) still suspicious of it, they got used to it impressively quickly. Our cats are dumb as rocks so if they can do it, I'm sure other cautious kitties can too. Complaints: 1. The food tray is quite deep, with steep sides. This isn't great for cats, who prefer shallow dishes. The 2nd tray provided is even worse since it just has a middle divider, leaving two small, deep compartments. This tends to lead to leftover kibble being pushed to the sides and the cats believing there is "no food" in the dish anymore and not eating all of it. I'm thinking about making a kind of inlay to make it a shallow dish, but it's of course a pain to figure out how to make that food-safe, washable and fit properly etc. I wish that was at least an optional thing you could buy extra, or something. 2. The lid stays open for quite a long time after the cat has left, maybe 10 seconds or so. This might make it not work for your cats, if one of them is very bossy and likely to butt in and grab a mouthful quickly. Our cats aren't like that so I'm not worried about it, and it is nice for shy cats to have more time and not be in danger of the lid shutting on their mouth.

Extremely pleased!!
This is a wonderful device that works perfectly and is very hard to find fault with. I bought it because my elderly cat was having his food stolen by a neighbour's cat and this exceeded all my expectations. It appears to have been improved too, as earlier reviews mention a noisy motor, which can scare cats, but mine is virtually silent. Some reviews also mention how cats can steal food from the side when it is open. But mine has clear plastic screens which help prevent this. Not only does this ensure my cat has the food he wants and the medication he needs, but, because he used to wake me up when there was no food available in the middle of the night, it means I get to sleep better too! It also provides mental stimulation as the cat learns to use it. It did take my cat a little while to get used to it but a cat's natural curiosity helps and it is well worth persevering. It has a training mode which also helps, but my top tip is to put some treats on the front tray. When the cat eats the treats, the main compartment opens and the cat gets a nice surprise that food becomes available! I also recommend setting the switch on the bottom to the slowest closing setting at first. This ensures it stays open for at least 20-30 seconds after the cat moves away so it stays open if the cat picks up some food to eat on the floor, as mine often does, or it just backs away temporarily to gain confidence. But after a while, the natural caution subsides and the cat is happy to use it. I'm summary, I can't recommend it enough. It is fairly compact, feels well constructed and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I only have one cat but I can imagine it is great for multi cat households where one cat needs special food or medicine. Perfect!! UPDATE: I have had this for over 6 months now and I still love it. It is working perfectly and is still on its first set of batteries despite being used several times every day. The neighbour's cat hardly comes in any more because he knows he can't get the food. And my cat is a pro at using it now. I still leave treats on the front tray as a reminder but the sweetest thing ever is when he pretends to eat the treats but pulls back at the last minute, waiting for it to open. It is like he thinks he is tricking it! I can't fault this at all!

Scaredy cats can learn new tricks
Take one scaredy grey cat, who came to us as a rescue six years ago. She's lovely but she's a bit crazy and has a very odd relationship with food, often going to the food bowl just to check food is still there and then walks away without eating any. Then enter a second black kitten, who a year or so ago was teeny, confident and greedy, and is now confident, greedy and obese. We call her the shark, and in a previous life she was a Great White. She wants to eat all the food all the time. Actually the kitten has given our older cat a new lease of life, and whilst they have their catty moments, they are now famous friends. So how to solve the food imbalance? I was sceptical about the grey cat being able to use the feeder at all. It makes a little mechanical whirring noise when the flap opens (unnerving). The cat also has to stick its head through the loop, somewhat putting blinkers on. Blinkers that may obstruct the view of oncoming kittens. We didn't start off using the training mode, because we didn't want the kitten to get the idea she could eat out of it too. We thought we'd just go cold turkey, keeping the lid closed, and see how the older cat fared, although we did help her at meal times by opening the lid, watching over, and then when she was 'done' (e.g. two mouthfuls were eaten) we pressed the button to quickly close the lid so that the shark didn't eat everything left. There were some early concerted efforts on the younger cats part to use paws / claws / digging to uncover the flap, I'm pleased to say to no avail. Within less than a week old grey cat was a pro at using the bowl. Rather than joining in with the scoffing immediately at meal times, she often casually waits for everyone to finish and leave the kitchen, and then I will hear the flap move to denote that she's decided it's her turn for a snack in some peace and quiet. There were lots of times in the first week or two that I would hear the flap open, and then immediately close, and was worried it was because she'd lost her nerve. But I know that, before we got the feeder, actually our old grey cat would periodically 'check' on her food, so I would say don't immediately get disheartened if you hear/observe this happening. It may be that your nervous cat was always checking back and forth, without always eating, but you just didn't notice. I often work from home, and it's really nice to be able to hear her going for a snack from the next room. Old grey cat does the process of opening the flap on her own consistently now, and without fail she is scoffing most of her food every day (before she would still often have a bit left by the next mealtime, like she's leaving herself a back-up). So essentially the feeder allows our older cat to graze as she chooses, and whilst it doesn't solve her neurotic attitude to food, it does mean she doesn't go hungry and we can relax in that knowledge. Meanwhile there's signs that the 'kitten' (now 18 months and was nearing 5kg - ...5!!) has certainly stabilised her weight, and it seems to be starting to reduce a tiny bit. So time will tell. But for sure she doesn't get to eat both cats food all the time anymore so that must be a good thing. I don't write reviews for everything I buy - who has the time? But honestly I am converted to this feeder thing, it seems to be genius. Was our old grey cat thrilled at the concept to begin with? Absolutely not. But look, she likes her tuna food, and she likes to eat it at a rate of about one mouthful per hour during the day. And for that, she's willing to suffer a bit of indignity and stick her head under the loop bit of the feeder, and was even nice enough to not take our arms off when we had to pick her up to register her microchip at the start (it was all very easy to set up). And is it cheap? Again, clearly not. But in our case it works, and it's cheaper than cat diabetes / stroke / other obesity complications. And associated vet bills. Also, we would sometimes feel bad for the old grey cat if we thought she hadn't got enough food, and often open another packet of wet food and give her half to make sure she'd had some, and those packets aren't cheap. It seems very possible that the food we've saved will pay for this feeder over the course of a year or so. I uhmmed and ahheed for a while about getting one of these, but for our cats it has been great. I would advise cat owners with our problem to seriously consider it. And if you do decide to give it a go - best of luck!

Great product, well worth the money
I have two cats, with different dietary requirements, and whilst these are quite expensive, it does mean that the medications and food that each cat needs doesn’t get eaten by the other. I’ve had it for months now and haven’t had to change the battery once. Being able to swap the trays around makes it so much easier to get them completely clean in the dishwasher each time. Took a little bit of time to get one of my cats used to it, but now they both are very comfortable. This will be a godsend in the summer when there could be a problem with flies as the food is completely covered (my cats have both wet and dry). I know that their food is not being contaminated.

Don't buy if you don't want to use collars
I purchased this on black Friday event and it took over a month to arrive. When it arrived the only batteries that I had available were from my shower radio and the unit immediately started flashing red to indicate the battery level was too low so we had to purchase some new batteries from Amazon. In the meantime we decided to play around with the unit learn the controls and all of the manual is online. Despite having used the online tool to check the microchip and whether it would work with this device, it doesn't. When I contacted customer service explaining the behavior that the unit displayed where it learned the cats microchip before the batteries were replaced and then wouldn't after the batteries replaced they stated it is because their there microchip reader is known to not comply with the new microchips! None of this information has been declared on the website none of this information has been declared on their Amazon advert and I was told to persevere use a piece of cardboard they sent me to measure sensitivity, changed the settings and then to "wait until your kitten has grown up!" Understandably I'm a disgruntled customer who spent 80 pounds on a feeder that doesn't work with no promise of a discount, partial refund, replacement or anything else despite having done absolutely everything that customer service have told me to do! Every time I've contacted them they've reiterated the same template response which is to go and check with your vet that the microchip is working, we did check with the vet and the microchips reading fine. So the fact that the microchip information that I entered on the website is misleading and it doesn't work is frustrating. I could have saved myself an awful lot of money by using one that has a dongle attached to a collar it's now cost me extra money purchasing collars for a kitten that is due to grow out of them and a lot of my time and patience trying to train the kitten and use their pieces of cardboard with sensors and things and reprogramming everything. I'm not satisfied with my purchase. I'm not getting a refund and I've not been allowed to send the item back. So proceed with caution if you've got a brand new microchip and be prepared to have to pay for replacement collar tags if your kitten or your cat loses their collar when they're out and about! The ease of cleaning I don't rate it very good for ease of cleaning there's lots of nooks and crannies for cloths and things to get snagged on it's very difficult to get into some of the crevices it's something that I have to wipe down every single time that I replace her food and there's no option prior to purchase thing to swap the bowl and maps for a different color these are available on their website and extortionate price of nearly £20. The item makes a small noise when it opens and closes it's not very loud I would say about 20 decibels of noise. Size of the unit is slightly larger than food bowls that you would use normally with the handle being similar in height to the width. So ensure you have about 15cm square of space to place with front access. There's also an additional option to purchase a back cover in order to protect the food and the lid once it's open from other multiple pets trying to access the food bowl I'm not really sure why this didn't come as a free optional item but again as you imagine this is also a very expensive add-on that you would need to purchase separately.

Prosuit incroyable

Immediately stopped working
It is a very expensive plastic cup if it is not going to work properly. I tried calling the customer service number but the line did not exist. I spoke with the chat bot and I am waiting to be contacted. Meanwhile, my initial excitement about the product is completely gone now. I am feeling stressed for having paid hundreds of usd for a product which did not last 3 months.

Works good
Very good feeder that open only for the specific pet. It door will brake if someone forcefully tries to open it, be sure to teach everyone in the household to open it with the big green button on the back.

Enorme Erleichterung in Mehrkatzenhaushalten
