Orzly OnePlus 5 Screen Protector, Pro-Fit TWIN PACK Tempered Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus 5 [Full Screen Coverage] – BLACK Frame

This is my second Orzly screen protector for the OP5, my first one was great too, but I spent a long few days sanding wood whilst listening to Spotify with the phone propped up near where I was working, and some sanding dust crept into the side of the phone, between the protector and the screen (which was annoying) and then in the lockdown and using lots of weird hand sanitisers I managed to somehow melt the surface a bit so decided to replace....I did consider lots of others the second time around, and the negative reviews did put me off, as I thought they must have changed something in its construction, but then I decided to just go for it anyway and I'm please I did. The Orzly screen protector has a really lovely surface feel, very smooth, which makes it very pleasant on the phone, and the edges are not too sharp, though not as bevelled as they could be. I have never noticed nor experienced the rainbow effect on either protector, so can't say what may be causing that - would be interested to see if this develops but nothing as yet. I have a caseology case and the protector has enough space around it to not interefere with the edges of the case, which has a slight lip around the screen. So seems a really good fit for that type of case. Some have complained that it has cracked/fragmented in use, particularly on the edges - I suspect it has done that because it has done its job! It is designed to fracture when struck, as I could see when I removed the old one, and it cracked into small pieces in a sort of granular way. I think if you have a protector and no case, you do run the risk of it breaking on the edges as it is designed to absorb any impact in that way. But neither of mine have ever broken like that. All in all - I'd say believe the negative reviews if you wish, but I've really never had a problem with anything by Orzly and this is no different.

I like orzly products... So I chose the bumper case and screen protector for the one plus 5...I've noticed that the 'lip' on the bumper pushes up the glass on the lower right of the screen making it click every time you press on it. V annoying.I'm going to apply the second one but with the case on first to see if I get a better fit.Failing that it will be a gel cover.A bit disappointed.Ps.. haven't noticed any of this rainbow stuff..Edit... I've now applied the second protector... Same again... Bottom right pushed up... Click click click every time you type and you have to push hard to make it connect with screen..Really dissapointing orzly...

Poor fit & quality for the following reasons;1- Sensitivity of the touch screen is greatly reduced when this is on the phone, in some instances I had to select things on my phone multiple times and with greater pressure on the screen in order for the selection to work.2- Touch screen responsiveness is greatly reduced around the edges when this is on the phone. Characters around the edges of the keyboard became very unresponsive, for example it took multiple attempts to register a "p" character when typing.3- Case compatibility is very poor. It is advertised that this protector is compatible with Orzly phone cases (which is why I purchased this product as I purchased a case at the same time), however when using with an official Orzly case, the glass touches the edges of the case meaning the case either lifted the glass around the edges (further increasing the sensitivity/responsiveness issues mentioned above), or the glass pushes the lip of the case outwards ever so slightly, decreasing the fit and causing a "clicking" feeling when picking the phone up again where the edge of the case presses against the glass protector.Would not recommend and will be seeking a refund from Amazon.

UPDATE:It's totally rubbish, over-priced screen 'protector'.As it came with two, I gave one to my brother, and his one cracked within a week and he said he only put it in his pocket - I didn't believe him as my friend said this brand is good.I just got to work, and can see cracks on the side of my protector, and I can confirm I only had a thin card holder in the same pocket as my phone.A FLAWED SCREEN PROTECTOR THAT BREAKS FROM BEING IN YOUR POCKET AND NOT DROPPING. They don't dare to reply to any negative reviews because they ******* know it's trash themselves.

I've not had any problems with the protection aspects of these screen protectors, however, they don't last long and don't look great. While the price is good - much, much better than the official oneplus protectors (when they are even available), they still don't last long enough to warrant buying.I managed to fit both of the protectors to the phone without any issues, in fact it is probably the easiest application of a protector I've had. However, this is due to the weird design which then results in a large rainbow blob being visible right in the centre of the screen. This rainbow doesn't look good, but is only visible when the screen is held at an angle and so doesn't affect most of the use of the phone.My main problem isn't this rainbow affect but rather how quickly it picked up dust. After just a couple of weeks there was noticeable dust around the edges and even some creeping quite far into the screen. It quickly becomes annoying when looking at just about anything on the phone and does make these protectors rather useless.
