300mm Genuine TIMBERLOK Sleeper Fastener Landscape Screws - Free Hexagonal Driver BIT with Every Purchase (10)

I have used the screws twice before and find them to be ideal. I made raised beds from 100mm x 200mm oak beams so the end result is a raised be 2.4 m long x800mm wide and 400 mm high. A picket hole made it easier to screw together but I found the earlier screws supplied with a hexagonal bit better then the latest version which now come with a star bit to fit the new designed head of the screws.

Parts arrived as described

They are a tad on the expensive side as others have said, but you get what you pay for. These screws are coated with a black paint and with a decent impact driver goes right through sleepers. I drilled a small pilot hole just to get me started and aimed straight, but the thread chomped right into the wood and it just drove all the way in with relative ease. I bought 8 for a 2.4m sleeper that was put in as a step, but merely affixed on top of cement, which made it wobble. Screwed all these in and it is now solid as a rock.

The package arrived with only 2 screws not the 10 shown as in the photo. However, on reading the product description it does say only 2 screws. Buyer beware!

If your looking at these for fixing timber sleepers new or old then these are just the thing.Comes with a suitable adapter for the head, which can be used on any drill with a chuck.Excellent grip into the timber, made of real quality.

Wouldn’t hesitate to buy the product again

Used these to lock a couple of sleepers together.Drilling through hardwood sleepers with these was like using a hot knife through butter, would highly recommend.
