These are not hemmed at either end, they are a single layer, a see through tube of lycra. They may be functional for hair purposes but that's it. I'm thoroughly disappointed by these. I stumbled across these while looking for face coverings. If you're here for face coverings too, keep looking. This won't protect you from anything.

I ordered these as I am having cancer treatment and I was looking for something more lightweight than my winter snood to protect me from infections. These are excellent ,they are lightweight and colourful and the pack of 6 different colours means I can mix them with different outfits .You can wear them in different ways and i think they would be suitable for patients suffering hair loss .I intend to pass your details onto my cancer team and to MacMillan. They are brilliant! The colours are vibrant and look great if you're trying to brighten up grey hair!There are instructions on how to use the scarf, which gives one far more ideas than simply pulling it over one's head.The material is reasonably thin, which allows hair or neck or arm (depending on where you want to wear it) a chance to breathe. One warning from a person who has an Idiot's Guide to everything.......... When you open the package, look at the top or bottom, not the middle and you will find the opening by gently rubbing the material together as if it is a plastic bag that needs coaxing!

I love these. I use them when it's cold - no worries of scarf tapers getting caught in anything. They're great if you have a chest infection or asthma, as you're able to maintain a constant temperature around your nose and mouth by wearing it over this area. It stops the direct cold air/ wind in your face which makes many asthmatics cough (air temperature change). I wouldn't be without them now - thank you. Prompt delivery too

If you want this for a face covering then it sort of covers your face and stops you 'snottering' all over, but keeps rolling down. In these 2021 days, if it's protection you want you won't find it here. Keeps your neck warm, keeps your hair back, nice enough patterns and colours, very stretchy fabric, completely unhemmed and probably won't last long when washed. Arrived the day after ordering, which was nice, but likely to be landfill within a month. Disappointing, because I really like the patterns on a couple but no good whatever for protection. Wish I had checked the reviews before I bought them...

I wanted 'buff' type neckwear to wear indoors, as my neck is becoming a bit stiff & a friend suggested wearing a scarf, but I thought a 'buff' snood would be more practical. This is a packet of 6 different designs & colours for £8.99. They arrived and are exactly what I was looking for - lightweight, good length of tube & good colours/patterns. I shall probably order another colour. I have not washed any yet, but should think they'll be fine.

I bought these for my mum who wears glasses and also a hearing aid and wearing a face mask was causing her problems with her glasses steaming up and every time she took it off, it affected her hearing aid.I have also had some and they are great as neck scarves - they can brighten up a plain jumper but when I go into a shop, it's quick to pull up and use as a facemask (although you need to double it up as it is only single thickness) and I also have used them as headband when I do yoga. Love the print and the colours and would buy them again as they represent good value for money
