Easy and quick and safe to use
The electric meter tester works great and also safe to use. I had one like this one quite a while ago but borrowed it to someone and never got it back. I guess they liked the way it works as much as I do. Definitely worth the price.

Doesn't fit a vast majority of 220v sockets
Without modification (which you SHOULD NOT DO) the test probes won't fit in most of the 220v sockets I've tested. The plastic sheathing around the tips of the probes is just too thick and bulky to allow them to fit into 3 and 4 prong dryer sockets.
