Is it waterproof? If not how can you stop sweat rubbing it off ?

Perhaps contact the seller to check if it's waterproof. It wasn't important to me whether it was waterproof or not so I didn't notice. You could use a setting spray to keep it in place.

Would this work for medium skin tones

It will suit most skin tones but it is quite heavy to apply.
