Has anyone lost any weight by replacing a meal with the 23oz glass of smoothie (using about 50/50 fruit and veg)?

Since I've had the Nutri Ninja Pro, I've lost about 10 lbs by replacing my lunch (which was usually a sandwich) with a vegetable smoothie. The little booklet which comes with the Ninja has a wonderful recipe I use called "Ninja Nine" and it's really nutritious. The benefits of having one of these machines is not just weight loss but well being. I have always eaten well but this is a wonderful way of getting more veg down. Can you blend hot food/liquid/sauces in this blender?

I blend coffee with coconut out using it. The coffee is probably about 70 c. I don't know if i should or not but I do and I've not died yet

Regarding noise, what can this be compared with e.g washing machine on spin? Does anyone know if it is louder than the previous version?

It has a powerful 1000w motor,it is definitely noisier than 900w.Hard to compare with washing machine etc.You only turn it on for few minutes the most,not like washing machine which runs for 30-45 minutes.

This is 230w? it will work with 220w (in israel?)
