I was BLOWN AWAY
Before I start, I want to make sure it's clear I did not get paid for this review. I bought this blender on my own and I love it. I figure a comprehensive review would be helpful to other buyers. These are my completely genuine opinions on the product.Back in 2011, I bought one of the original Ninja blenders. It was a pretty powerful blender, but only had 3 settings. Compared to your average conventional blender, it seemed pretty fancy and I used it until the motor finally died about 3 years later.Fast forward to today, where I saw this great deal on Amazon. I've been traveling around Europe with my family for 3 years, and it has become difficult to rely on our rentals for certain cooking appliances. So I decide to order the complete kitchen system, without looking at the documentation very closely.HOLY COW! The difference between this newer Ninja Kitchen System and the original standalone blender is SUBSTANTIAL.First, to comment on ordering from Amazon: it was shipped and delivered quickly (within 24 hours). It comes in a box where everything is packed very carefully in individual cardboard and plastic sleeves. Absolutely nothing was jostled around in the box, because everything was packed so securely. Everything was shiny, brand new, and nothing was broken or missing.Let me be clear about what you're getting in this package:-Ninja Kitchen System Motor Base (with more than 5 different settings)-Large Blender Pitcher-Large Blender Metal Blades-Large Blender Plastic Blades-Food Processor Pitcher-Food Processor Metal Blades-Food Processor Plastic Column (for the plates)-Food Processor Shredder Plate-Food Processor Slicer Plate-Food Processor Food Shoot (with large mouth and the pusher tube thing)-1 Large Nutrient Bullet Container-1 Medium/Small Nutrient Bullet Container-2 Screw on Pour Lids for Nutrient Bullet-1 Nutrient Bullet Blade Base-1 Technical Guide-1 Cookbook/User's Guide-1 Single Page User Cheat SheetEssentially, the kitchen system gives you a very powerful blender, a separate food processor, and a separate nutrient bullet. And it now has a built in 1500 watt blending option–for when you really need to amp the power on your blender.Regarding safety: the Ninja will NOT work if you do not properly put lids on your pitchers and containers, and it will NOT work if you do not properly lock everything into place. This means you never have to worry about your kids chopping their fingers off by accident, because they will never have the chance to put their fingers near the bladesNext, it was time to test this impressive and beautifully designed machine.I started first by using the nutrient bullet to create an herb butter. I threw in some thick slices of cold butter, some mct oil, a bunch of freshly ground herbs, and some apple cider vinegar. I worried there wasn't enough liquid for it to blend properly and that the butter would become stuck. I worried for absolutely no reason. I selected the Nutrient Bullet Option and watched something almost magical. The blender detected how thick the butter and mixture was... and decided to pulse the ingredients, on it's own. It kept doing this until everything had completely blended and then emulsified to perfection. I was stunned.I was pretty certain that I was just losing my mind or that the machine was malfunctioning or something. I decided to test it again and see what was going on.This time I took the blender and put some collagen gel, melted butter, mct oil, fresh basil, and an entire head of roasted cauliflower and 2 roasted leeks into the blender. I selected the food puree option...And on it's own it started on the normal blend setting, chopping everything immediately close the blades. After a few seconds it pulsed up to medium speed, all on it's own, to chop things a little better. There was one persnickety cauliflower floret near the top that didn't seem to be blending... Until the blender pulsed up to the highest speed on it's own, and stayed there for a full minute. I was again stunned, but thought that was just the pulse pattern for puree.I needed to add more liquid to the puree, as it was just a tad too thick for my taste. So I added in some more MCT oil and pushed pulse again. I watched carefully as it went from normal blending speed... and pulsed directly up to high for one whole minute. As in... the blender was selecting the appropriate speed for emulsification, on it's own. This is the beauty of the new Ninja system. It's called Auto IQ. It detects the weight and consistency of your food (at least from what I observed), and then automatically changes the settings for itself. In my opinion, that's worth the price of admission alone.I haven't yet used the food processor, but I'm certain I'm going to be just as surprised.Lastly, cleaning everything up was quick. We put up the leftovers from dinner, and simply washed the container, pitcher, and blades with some soap, water, and a soft cloth. Then we let them air dry.Everything looked just as sparkling new after the wash–no cloudiness of plastic or oily residue.I can already see myself using this until the motor dies again. And if it only lasts for 6 months (hypothetically) it will still be worth the price–because it seriously makes cooking a million times easier for me and my family. We blend and chop 2-3 times a day, and with a smart and powerful blender it cuts down on a lot of work.Definitely recommend the purchase if you're looking for an easy-to-use blending, emulsifying, mixing, and chopping kitchen system.

Brilliant! Powerful, quality, well built machine
Like many of you, I browsed for a LONG time, researching food processors. I already had a nutribullet for smoothies, which was great, but I needed to be able to chop nuts, grind coffee beans etc, which the bullet doesn’t do as it has to have liquid in it. I read the reviews for this machine and noticed there was one “Available from these sellers”. It was £40 cheaper and listed by Amazon as in new condition but with damaged box. I decided to risk it and it arrived in pristine condition and was most certainly new. I saw no damage to the box, so not sure what that was about but I’m not complaining. This is a serious piece of kit. It’s chunky, quality, well built and boy does it function! My nutribullet is now for sale as this machine makes the BEST smoothies ever. They are velvety smooth and just wonderful. I make green smoothies daily, so as well as apples, pears etc, I put ginger, celery, nuts, and other stalky stuff in there. My other gadget would leave bits of stringy pith in there at times, but not this baby. Gorgeous.I’ve used the processing unit to grate cheese, carrots etc with ridiculous ease. Not a problem to clean, but you need to be careful with those super sharp blades! I’ve processed nuts in seconds, blended home made tomato sauce like it wasn’t there and whizzed up soups to creamy smoothness.I have no regrets whatsoever in buying this. DO NOT buy cheaper alternatives if you can afford to spend the extra. It packs a whopping 1500w, which just pulverizes everything in it’s path 😀 it looks good on the kitchen side - pride of place in my kitchen and I can honesty say I have used it every single day since I got it.Easy to use after reading through the quick start guide. It clicks together with a gratifying solidness, and you have the confidence that this isn’t going to break in a hurry.Buy one! You won’t regret it.
